Just got these.. Trying it smile.gif

When using RMClock on Windows 7 this need to be done:

in RMC in Management disable OS power management integration
in W7 in power plan in Minimum processor state set 100%

and now RMC is taking control of processor and Windows 7 of the rest

Does this mean that the processor will always run at highest frequency?

Dont look like it..

Mine still downclocks.. smile.gif I dont see anymore spikes to Stock Voltages..
As long as in RMClock's Profile you have set to performance on demand(Current and Startup) i think..
With all indexes ticked.

Oh... I don't see any voltage spikes at all before following the instructions here. However, I have a serious frequency spike though. sad.gif My CPU hardly stabilize.

Mine Core Duo T2250 didn't face problem like that smile.gif

try this, open the RMClock then go to Settings
On Startup Options
tick start minimized to system tray and Run at WIndows startup: choose via Startup registry key
then close it,
right click the RMClock icon on system tray choose Restart.
Then open back RMClock.
Then try restart your computer to see your settings back to default or not.

Stable Undervolted Voltage: FID:6.0x VID:0.9000V , FID:10x VID:1.1500V

Originally FID:10x VID: @1.1750V.
Tested the stability of 1.1500V for 45minutes without any error. Will push it further when I got spare time.

Cheers!

UPDATE : Currently undervolted to FID:10x VID: @1.1125V , Tested working fine and stable for an hour.
UPDATE 2 : Stability tested for FID: 10x - VID: @1.0125V. (trying my best to push it further.)

not a big concern for me since i am folding most of the time...

lol i follow exactly what the guide mention but after install rmclock and i launch it, the 'advanced cpu settings is missing', which mean i stuck at step 2 T T

Added on February 7, 2010, 1:19 pmi think this rmclock does not work with core i5, because i have tried another laptop with c2d base and it works, too bad T T

actually, RMClock has dificulty reading half multipliers as well...

for eg, T9600 runs at 266x10.5 = 2.8GHz, but RMClock only take the max speed to be 266x10 = 2.66GHz...
