Ahaks. Putting on flash would be a totally new experience. It'll be exiting. So now screw my 1870 to 50mm for a cheap prime laugh.gif

fully agree with u....

value for money only if u wan to compare the image quality and optics....

AF & MF is not something u sh compare here....  depends on personal preference and gif n take for about 25% price of the cz....
*

ya you are right... but the Samyang looks like a nice piece of glass... performance (IQ etc) wise also nice for her price smile.gif

for a not expensive street photography, maybe the new SAL1855 f/3.5-5.6 SAM or Sony SAL16105 f/3.5-5.6 might suit your purpose for learning smile.gif

for apsc i would say tht a short range prime like 28mm or 30mm would fit perfectly....
for me i am using cz1680....its all depends on your budget...

Mikeshashimi: There is the:

Sony 55-200mm F4-5.6 DT
Sony 55-200mm F4-5.6 DT (2) SAM

The second version has the Smooth Autofocus Motor. SAM is a nuisance to me because you lose DMF and AF/MF control on the body. Your A100 has DMF.

90% of sony lens ARE SHARP. its the matter of ur shooting style, and focusing accuracy. some user with F5.6 lens might never able to shoot successful to a experienced F2.8 user. wink.gif shoot more.

I just send it my camera to Sony Service Center today, and to my surprise, i still got warranty left for my camera!!
It's registered online so i got extended 6 months warranty which ends, guess when?

18th of Feb!
Wow .. i am so lucky, so now i saved Rm150 for the services charge and on top of that i can service my camera for FREE!!

w00t!

Now if only i can get my LCD replaced and get it back before CNY, i would be the happiest man on earth tongue.gif
