funny, i not sure bout albnok and CJlai, my fisheye is SSSed. ^^;

18mm is consider wide. because u still stand infront of all other compact camera to shoot group photo. and i always turn to 24(even apsc) to shoot, it is less distorted then 18mm.
16 and 18, a minor diff in space/area, but the distortion is big. sad.gif

totally dif la....one is manual one is auto, one is 1k+, one is 5k+

how to compare????
*
fully agree with u....

value for money only if u wan to compare the image quality and optics....

AF & MF is not something u sh compare here.... depends on personal preference and gif n take for about 25% price of the cz....

forget about getting lens oversea. warranty issue is a big headache. unless u get cheaper by 30-40% off retail price(not street price), then only can reconsider.

"A 100 mm lens with an aperture setting of f/4 will have a pupil diameter of 25 mm. A 135 mm lens with a setting of f/4 will have a pupil diameter of about 33.8 mm. The 135 mm lens' f/4 opening is larger than that of the 100 mm lens but both will produce the SAME illuminance in the focal plane when imaging an object of a given luminance."

@achew
same aperture f/1.4 for 30mm, 50mm, 85mm will hv diff DOF

altho all 3 lenses will produce the same illuminance in the focal plane... but the DOF is diff due to diff in the focal length

more DOF > 30mm > 50mm > 85mm > less DOF
