@cheahcw2003 & wongmunkeong

Thanks for the confirmation. So, we can register one fund one type under different agent! Then good.

There's always a gap knowledge between investor and agent/sifu, that why still need a lot of guidance. Stay tuned for more q!

Those are like FD. so the risk of losing money is less. It's like saying all the sudden the bank collapse

How they count for dividend ....
is that you have to invest for that fund for at least a year ... that you entitle the dividend ....

How about if you invest yesterday and they announces the dividend today ... are you entitle for the dividend ...

how they count for the dividend ...
Is it base on your lowest unit trust end of the each months like how others PNB fund (e.g ASN/ASW) calculated ...
or a total of your unit trust the day before the announcement of the dividend ...

thank you for answering my question ...
*
if u buy 1000 units yesterday and declared dividedns today. u still entitle for dividedns..the dividedns is from ur OWN money. not form PM.

let say u buy at rm0.25
1000 x rm0.25 = RM250.

let say dividedsn rm0.02
1000 x rm0.02 = RM20.

ur dividedns will be rm20 from rm250..heehehehhe

u can understand more clear at gross dividedns

and u still lost money for tax deduction to get net dividedns. don't buy unit before the dividedns at least 3 to 6 months.

ur money must work for u and than only get the dividedsn.

if u buy units before the dividedns, ur money not even start work for u, and u hv to pay tax already.

What's the difference between a 'return %' and a 'yield %'?

Lets say a fund that generated a return of 18% and a yield of 6%, what do the two percentages really mean?

Returns = usually capital growth + dividends calculated
Yield = usually only dividends calculated

Thus, returns of REIT A = 13% which consist of 7% from Dividend yield + 6% from Capital growth (ie. price of stock)
In this context, REIT A's returns = 13% and its Dividend Yield = 7%

Good?

Asian markets climb.
PETALING JAYA: Asian financial markets jumped yesterday, after US lawmakers reached a deal to raise the United States' borrowing limit by US$2.1 trillion and avoid a nightmarish debt default by the world's largest economy.

Asia stocks retreat as exporters fall
By Sarah Turner, MarketWatch
SYDNEY (MarketWatch) — Asian stocks dropped on Tuesday, with exporters broadly pressured after fresh indications that U.S. manufacturing is slowing, and with Japanese companies straining under the weight of a strong yen.

Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average (TYO:JP:NIK) fell 1.3% in the morning session, Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index (ASX:AU:XJO) lost 1.3% ahead of an interest-rate decision, and South Korea’s Kospi (KRX:KR:0100) fell 1.5%.

The Hang Seng Index (HSI:HK:HSI) declined 0.7%, while the Shanghai Composite index (SHA:CN:000001) lost 1.3%.
