i need to release the accelerator before change gear then no shift shock(rpm around 2000-3000)....if not then every time get shift shock...
now gear 2 change to gear 3 start to have tis problem

about the shift shock, mine is quite shocky for each gear change...no that i floor it...juz normal drive...

and how do i know when to change my gear oils?

Try taking your car to a trusted workshop and do a proper flushing for the gearbox.

Hi, welcome, I'll add you to the list.

Change your gearbox oil every 20,000-30,000KM.

drop the gearbox cover at the bottom, it looks lika a tray. there's a screen filter. if there are large pieces of plastic or metal then your gearbox is a bye bye. otherwise clean everything and fill up with your favorite ATF oil.

I have done mine once a year, and its still ticking (if not for the once in a blue moon shift shock 1-2 gear) at 291,000 km today. Previously using Castrol fuly synthetic ATF fluid now it is on Toyota ATF since I revived it awhile ago.

I see, guess its time for me to flush my gearbox....didnt do anything to it since the day i bought it....

i'll update once i've done it...see whether the shift shock still that noticible or not...

i've actually tried to do this sometime last year for my N16 2006. since the meter back panel is white, i figure it will look quite good with a white or blue back light.

i took out the meter panel and manage to take out the original bulb attached to the panel. then i went to accessory shop ( quite a few actually) and ask if they have any blue or white LED/bulb with the size and same power rating but unable to find one...sadly i went home and put all the panel and cables back together.

do you know where can i get the white/ blue LED for the meter panel???? from the website you posted, it is from US.

i normally use 15w40, and only change gearbox oil once, during 30,000 mileage.

i change every 5000km with engine oil / oil filter

Looks just like my 2006 Sentra, which is the SG 1.6 A/T version without ABS, leather seats, etc.

My FC is around 13.5km/l hwy, insured value now around 46k, never given me any problem so far after 70k+ travelled. Maybe worth looking into with a good mechanic assisting you.

Guys, I have a problem with my Sentra recently. When I'm not accelerating, the air-cond is hot although there's still a lot of wind blowing out, when I step on the pedal the air cond will slowly become cold back.

Unfortunately just now when I drove it the same thing happened, its just that even when I accelerate the air-cond no longer becomes cold... and there's a constant noise (like air-cond type) coming from the vent in front of the car... it only disappeared a while after I stopped my car.

It's a 1.6 Sentra year 2000..

Have you check the gas?
I experienced this problem before, but it was caused because out of gas.

Your air-cond fan motor needs to be replaced, it no longer has the original strength to dissipate the hot air fast enough from the air-cond radiator.

met with a white B14 (VZR sticker) last sunday
