Its confusing when you display your phone contact together with google and facebook contact. It only shows the username of the facebook friend instead the name you set in your phone contact even when you join it with facebook profile.
*
You can set them separately if you don't want to join them smile.gif Thats the problem with our community people. They want to be so tech savvy that they want to appear on all social networks and not even leave out one. But when they do, they always want to be anonymous and expect you to figure out what their anonymous name is. Sometimes, I don't really bother adding them to my profile at all coz they don't deserve to be there. If you want to "socialize" by joining a "social network", then be proud of your own name first. You have the best name anyone else could ever have. You deserve the name. And if you have problems with it, blame your parents but spare the other social networking users smile.gif

P/s: Sorry to go really off board. But honestly, I have simple names like "Khairul" (not real name) which I have always called him that suddenly have to remember him as "Pinky Slushy Poo Poo Dog" (not real nick) in my contacts now! It irritates me so much, I separated him from his number. He deserves not to appear on my contacts list (only with phone options enabled) smile.gif

Thanks for the input bro...
well, i do know that not only nokia can do that ...
other phones can do that too...

just would like to know if N1 has any s/w that can enables that feature

To be honest guys, I have owned Nokia N95 before this which was an awesome phone (and still is!), and had 3.5G video call feature which I used only two times in my life:
1. When my dad bought a 3G video phone (testing his front camera and 3G video call)
2. When my siter bought a 3G video phone (same purpose as above)

I really think 3G video call is a fail feature which never made its breakthrough as it was supposed to (regardless of the rates being the same as voice call). It lacks security, it makes you look really stupid talking to the phone in front of you, giggling and laughing (or even get mad) and above all, you don't have your privacy. Someone can just call in a video call while you're naked or doing the chicken dance and you pick it up not knowing it was actually a video call.. lol.. Don't laugh, it has happened to someone I know.. tongue.gif

wow.....but for me 3g call is very very usefull.
i use alot of 3g video call when i am away from my familly..

its great that u could see then physically rather then just hearing their voice.
tho the quality is not really good, but at least u can see them.

i guess i have to bring another 3g video call phone with me next time i am away again...
and just patiently waiting for android to come out with the video call feature(if they will)

$529 for the phone, Shipping & Handling (DHL International) $28.32, +7%GST.
Price above is US dollar, you can convert to other currency yourself.
Should be around $850 sing dollar. smile.gif

About the Chinese input, there are several Chinese IME in Market. The Android 2.1 SDK VM also using the Pinyin IME. So Chinese input will be not a problem with Android. I personally using OpenWnn/Plus for Japanese input.

Multitouch? N1 IS multitouch capable in hardware and OS level, but you must use multitouch enabled apps, such as the Dolphin browser.

TQ. smile.gif

Somehow I feels like I like the contact management with facebook better in Hero with HTC Sense than in N1. It will still display the name you put for your phone contact and just link it with Facebook account.

the total cost for the phone , charger and delivery to singapore is 577.31 USD

then when it reaches singapore you will need to pay around 65 SGD (7% GST and 10 SGD for handling fee)
bear in mind that the 65SGD is paid in cash to the delivery guy

it took 6 days to reach my friend's hand

Hi,

you need to download and install googles from android market, then you can try yourself.

I have try but not accuracy, i take same picture twice (the picture is nexus's Box) , the first time it can search the google for me. second time it is fail. My experience it is base on camera's quality

try magazine-> fail, try sony vaio's logo on notebook screen -> fail also.
