Exactly..End of the day, the choice lies in the person's hands..As for me, I was born for Android..Period..
If I devoted myself to iPhone, I would be jailbreaking it and doing nonsenses on it anyway, but the freedom of doing that would be so cramped, I'd give up in the end.. But the real joy about my N1 is not really about the hacking and rooting..Its about what it does for me..Recently, I had an emergency and I was at the hospital with most of my family members..At the end of the day, while all iPhones, Nokias and Sony Ericssons had died, my Nexus One was the only one alive and still taking calls..In that situation, I couldn't appreciate my N1 more than any other time..Priceless.. |

I don't know why everybody crave for iphone, if i have iphone now someday i will feel bored because of restriction set by Apple and you don't have the freedom to do what you want with iphone except you jailbreak, that sux man..

Yeah ... back then I badly wanted an iPhone but I didn't fancy the idea to getting myself locked to a telco + I hated the way Apple makes you locked in to them. Everyone has an iPhone. Then came the N1 and here's my chance to be different and I get to customized the phone the way I want it to behave and work with me. I'm happy ever since. Lots of critics about the lack of apps but I work with apps which will help me. So far me N1, saved me, helped me and entertained me - plenty of memories with it. Love the phone man! |

QUOTE(shahz @ Apr 3 2010, 12:47 AM) Try resetting your APN. Is your 3G activated already? *133# if im not mistaken (did this years ago..haha).. Thanks for the reply! No, you don't lose functionalities..You get more instead..lol..if your friend is having problems, ask them to come and see us here.. Apparently maxis sort of de-activated my 3g before re-activating it after i added a data plan into my existing plan, weird. Now i've got my mind set on rooting my N1, as soon as my finals are over. Thanks again! |

N1 and iPhone have their own respective markets. Sometimes the buyers just don't realise which market segment they themselves are actually in.

I just installed the Papago M6 into my N1, but, how can I use MFM
Actually very easy to install, even with GNU/Linux. Extract all the files based on the link in previous post, and install the .apk file from papago. Luckily I can read Chinese characters and 'agak-agak' the meaning, because, all the menus are in Chinese. As a proof here is the screenshot TQ. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Can't decide whether to go for the N1 or HTC Desire - both basically the same phone. iPhone not for me as I do not like being taken "hostage" by Apple. Heard that N1 battery barely lasts a day is that true?
