As written on the 1st pg, Kinetic scrolling is not working in Menu & app section & also the Nokia 5530 home page....So far I catch no ball..can'st see any kinetic scrolling page or application at all....wondering another gimmick kah?

Also music & contact list..still the same saja? Well I can see OVI on top of the contact but what the use? So far, the drgging bugs in Garmin MXT for sure solved & now I know the feature of the slide thingy....more than these?

u mean u havent been able to see the KS in tube ar?
open ur contacts...
drag from bottom to top ON THE NAMES not on the scroll bar
same goes to other parts where KS is supported...

Hmnn That scrolling thingy in the contact, I tot already there long time ago? I was expecting something like those Home screen widget, where u can drag & add your home screen just like Omnia & also copy & paste by way of dragging & dropping something like Iphone

You can download it from Ovi Store inside your phone..but only do this if u are connected using wifi..3G/GPRS is expensive.

I presume u didn't know what kinetic scrolling means.
Previously, our beloved 5800 doesn't equip with kinetic scrolling at all, its so hassle to scroll in contact list / media list to find files. But now, u juz need to flip ur finger, then it'll scroll all the way down/up. Cool~!

Menu --> Web --> Option --> Clear Privacy Data --> Cache/Cookies/History (clear any if u want).

haha probably kua I was expecting something like Iphone or those Samsung phone widget thingy where u can drag, drop, zoom in, move location just like Iphone thingy....Well my expectation to high liao

I changed my memory card to a new one and restore all the content to the new card using pc suite. All my apps links are missing..
Anyway to restore them back.
Or do i have to reset the phone.

I thought Nokia PC Suite will retain all the setting since it restores from backup.
Not so intelligent it seems.

what you should've do is copy all contents of old memory card and paste it into new memory card and load it. during pc suite backup, did you check 'user files on memory card'?

have try it but not all message is store,cant see my mms though and other subs folder.
btw on which directory does the message been save or located if using pc suite?

I do the restore from memory card only. Never did try copy and paste from windows.
I lost all the links in the apps menu.

Anyone ever successfully do copy and paste and still retain the apps in phone apps menu?
