Doubt that will happen.
Maxis should be the only telco holding the outright units for sale.
Even Ipad is not being sold in Apple store Malaysia.
Guess Apple doesn't really wan business from Malaysia.

Because Malaysia doesn't have an Apple store.

I think the iphone 4 is not going to release in September but in October due to the free bumper promotion now for phones purchased up till 30th August. Why make more losses for free bumper promotion?

If Apple were to cut losses, why they still want to ship the iPhone 4 to country like Korea and Taiwan? I believe the iPhone population in these countries is far more higher than Malaysia....



Just got an update from web, Chile is start accepting pre-order for iPhone 4.

But SG doesn't have any Apple Retail Stores too, only authorized resellers.
I guess Apple always face problems with Malaysia's Custom and SIRIM approval.
Thats y they avoid selling them in Apple Online Store MY.

ermm.. i think this question has been raised before. and maybe i've missed the post somewhere but i couldn't really find it. i jumped few pages of course. my question/situation would be: i have an iphone, but i didnt get it thru maxis. and i have value plus 50 (without any data plan cos im using SE C902 currently). how am i entitled to maxis data plan as maxis told me that "oh u need to get the iphone from us, then only u can get the data plan).

Actually what happened to the iphone 3G when iphone 3GS released here? Did the 3G price marked down while 3GS took the same price as the 3G before 3GS released?
