Hi Guys,
Anyone subscribed iData plan 3 @ RM99/month?
I just checked Maxis website, i found that they removed unlimited internet access, replaced by RM88 3GB quota, but iData plan 3 @ RM99/month for iPhone was still there.
Do i still have my unlimited internet access? >.< I used to exceed my quota, i dont want extra charge!
*
i might be wrong but the 'unlimited' internet is actually capped at 3gb, stated in the fine print. so the plan is still the same. do u exceed 3gb?

Even maxis removed the unlimited internet access, you still have the unlimited plan.
Unless you cancel and replace the unlimited plan to either one of the iData plan.
Maxis will not advice you to change unless you really want to, to pay less for the iPhone device.

I heard that maxis won't be bringing in anymore iphone 3gs as they wait for the launch of ip4. Is this true?
I was initially planning to buy 3gs when maxis launches ip4, sensing that in a logical way the price of 3gs should drop alot by that time.

production for the 16 & 32GB 3GS stopped a long time ago, what we have now is maxis's overstock of the 32GB, they could only offer significant discount through 2 year contract, i doubt they are gonna decrease the outright/prepaid purchase of the phone.

Uh, I'm having problems with my home/lock buttons. Both not so responsive and requires me to press it w more pressure to exit apps/unlock/lock etc. Bought my iPhone 3GS from Maxis around September last year and before I head down to KLCC to enquire about it, I thought I'd drop by and ask here instead. Anyone knows if this is under warranty? If not, where can I get my iPhone fixed, or something?

Cheers.

@Characuta
call the hotline first. usually, you can claim iPhone warranty at your nearest Maxis Center (NOT agent / reseller).

if the replacement set has the same problem, contact crxr or wei for suggestions.

@Characuta,
Your warranty period is 1 year so if you got it in September 2009, it should still be within the warranty period. In fact, I'm heading there this afternoon to get them to take a look at my sister's i3GS. I used it temporarily for 2 weeks and the moment I touched it, I felt something was amiss. I only hope Maxis will give me a replacement for it biggrin.gif

Thanks for info. Hopefully "2 weeks later" collection is still during September. Having my major exam in early October and if the collection date so happens to fall on my exam date, I will have to get my relative to collect for me.

Just stay tuned, pray hard, fingers crossed. Based on all the "inside information" contributed by the forummers in this thread, Pre-ordering will be around 1st or 2nd week of September. Collection of iPhone 4 will be around 3rd or 4th week of September.

I think Maxis will reveal the packages when the pre-ordering is open.
