if u wanna do facetime for free just go to contacts and click facetime.

it wont connect u through minute calls but goes straight to wifi mode.

Then how the phone track your contact through wifi? Wont you need an ip or somthing?

remember when u turn the FACETIME tab in settings, they'll say waiting for activation?

that's when Apple copy your device number and store it for facetime.

that's how. just try it lah.

buy prepaid sim (rm5 only). turn on wifi. use facetime. see credit kurang or not.

ala international call is cheap as far as i can remember. it's not like ur roaming. was it like 20sen per minute on maxis. can't remember.

just try la because if u use facetime via contacts, it wont dial phone. straight away u see video until he angkat.

try la with prepaid sim. rm5. pastu kalau betul can facetime all the time. save bill. hahaha.

Anyone has any idea when it will be officially in Malaysia? I have been waiting for so long. Don't plan to get the UK version as I had issues with my 3GS when I got the UK version. Warranty claim was a pain in the a**.

i think from now till it's launched, till it reaches your hand ..... i'll say 6 months is a good estimation

Im working in singapore now hahaha. My maxis roaming bill damn fierce, i answer 1 call straight rm 2.50 gone. thats why i gave up then sun bian get iphone 4 with starhub contract

everytime i went overseas i buy prepaid sim. cheap what. uk 1 pound only. us USD$3. japan just 100 yen.

so everytime i roam i just use those numbers.

If ur friend ain't on WiFi he'll get a "missed call" or a note telling him someone tried to FaceTime with him [at least that's what I've been told; I've never personally experienced it]. If ur friend doesn't have FaceTime capabilities then the call will just not connect!
