Ah well.. I initially pre-ordered the phone on iData 3 but decided 500MB was more than sufficient for me hence I went with iData 2 to save some $

Not really - it's never crossed my mind to swap out of Maxis; I may be upset with them but not upset enough to go through the trouble of switching

Hmm.. if you're always travelling out of Klang Valley U may want to check DiGi's coverage before U switch to DiGi

Yeah but if stock's not gonna be suffice, I doubt Maxis will have any prepaid sets to sell. The same may be applicable to DiGi.

Hmm.. well in that case u just have to keep checking to ensure ur not being charged based on a pay per use

If ur friend ain't on WiFi he'll get a "missed call" or a note telling him someone tried to FaceTime with him [at least that's what I've been told; I've never personally experienced it]. If ur friend doesn't have FaceTime capabilities then the call will just not connect!

Hmm.. tried putting the other post of urs here but can't seem to do it on the iPhone 4 (a bit slow so decided to abandon the attempt!).

I signed up for iData 2 plan with the i3GS in 2009. I think it's worth the $ since the additional 500MB would have cost me RM58 p/month if I didn't sign on with iData 2 (which now costs me RM50 p/month) plus I got RM400 subsidy off the phone price

Am at work now, don't have WiFi; plus have quite a few iPhone 4 kaki's - just no time to FaceTime them Thanks anyways

Excuses.. U can always do video conferencing via ur desktops/laptops.. no need to specifically buy a mobile phone for it

Laptop cannot make and receive phone call, cannot send and receive SMS, etc.

Bring along the Maxis warranty card; I too need to go in to get them to check my sister's i3GS. Will do it when I'm at KLCC tomorrow

Also, can U act tell which "hole" is emitting a louder sound? That's odd because one of them doesn't emit sound at all

Your warranty period is 1 year so if you got it in September 2009, it should still be within the warranty period. In fact, I'm heading there this afternoon to get them to take a look at my sister's i3GS. I used it temporarily for 2 weeks and the moment I touched it, I felt something was amiss. I only hope Maxis will give me a replacement for it

I guess it depends on what U define as high. My take is that the prices won't be higher than what it was when i3GS was introduced. If anything, it might even drop by RM100-150

Lol but the price here is v much determined by the 2 telcos; no?! I think it'll either be the same as i3GS or at the lowest, maybe around RM2.8k for the 32GB

*shrugs* I hear of no such rumour; then again I haven't seen my Celcom contacts for yonks! The last I heard however (which was about a month ago) they weren't interested in the iPhone market... unless maybe Apple changed their terms?

Hmm... well you are most probably right but I think Maxis will somehow have to shortlist us; am sure there are thousands of people on the pre-interest list and they can't be sending out invites to everyone or guaranteeing everyone a phone, right ?

If it's a midnight launch it means they'll only start selling the phones (officially) after the stroke of midnight. I think what @stringfellow means by the event is that something will happen to keep people in the queue bz until the clock strikes 12.
