Finally bought mine unit at puchong for RM3530!  Very happy with it.  Now, need to go claim my DVD player.

The woofer isn't that strong.  My previous toshiba has better sound due to its BIG size!!

IMHO , it's alrdy much better than lots of brand (LCD) out there ,seriously!.. flex.gif I like it so much..

I realised that it is made in Indonesia and am a bit surprised.

originally reluctant to give me that price, saying min is 3600 only. I said my buddy came the other day, and got it for 3550. He looked up his sales book and made a phone call. W/o having me to bargain again, automatically told me can give me at 3530! thumbup.gif

checked my price w/ onking & hsl, both couldn't give any price near that. Min was 3700 & 3800 respectively.

is there a way to change the resolution to 720p? or it is automatic? can't seem to find anything on the remote to tune tht.

In my case and explained by the SA, 2 years warrant + 1 year insurance are covered by the manufacturer, in this case, the Toishiba itself. They said, it was the display unit. hangging on the wall, for couple of months As I can see, it is almost like new with just few microscopic scratches.

Performance wise... Very nice for MYR2.3k LCD TV. smile.gif I had the chance to compared with Sony ZX-1 (MYR15k) side by side, with regular RCA video input, (on both tvs). mmmm.... nit bad at all. SA used the RCA cable because, the stopped using the HDMI cables bechis ause its were regularly stolen. (What a pity, bad peoples).

At home, I tried with Mac Book Pro 15" mid-2010, and played Avatar-full HD, BDcopy. Waaa... nice, but, it should be much nicer I have time to adjust the color settings. Soundwise (via the MBP's HDMI), also nice with adequate bass, and the voice is clear.

Next, I connect my cheap 'cap dolphin' DVD player, with components and set to ProgressiNve YPrBr. Wow, the DVD also looks nice....Not bad at all.

TV : Ok, No complaint, Just watchable. Just need time to adjust with new TV, after soo many years watching tube/CRT tv smile.gif

Ok, next, I will try with my old WDTV, and I think the result should be similar to my MBP.

Astro : I don't subscribe Asto... so no comment ..
