wow, top selling... last time i asked some branch at Puchong, RM3800,
If you really need fast, try to search Bandar Puteri Puchong, next few shop to Citibank.
See they got stock or not.

Pandan Jaya RM36++. Got few shop there also.

Just don't buy at Harvey Norman, SenQ, Onking they are selling RM4699.

After that found that HLK kajang only selling RM3450. ( I bought it )
Funny, the price for this model increased a bit now.

Daren, I read this review the other day and was impressed with its features. Do you agree with the reviewer's cons vs the ZV (especially milky blacks)? The black level wont certainly be that of the plasma's black level isn't it?

As long as it is still LCD technology, there will always be a little visible light on black background in dark environment, although new LCD TV nowadays are a lot better than just a few years back. For now, one way to improve this situation is to use ambient lighting like this http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1342592

Pure black is only possible on:
1) VERY good Plasma TV
2) LCD TV with zone LED backlighting (ideally zone backlight resolution = panel resolution)
3) OLED TV drool.gif

Milky black or light black could be seen on the top and bottom horizontal bars but not noticeable in the movie scenes so PQ is awesome to me for my taste. Of course if you crank up the brightness alone in the settings, the whole screen will become greyish black. The good thing about this ZV is that it is loaded with advanced settings which allow you to adjust the greyscale, six base colors, gamma which combine all these settings with suitable Brightness and Contrast levels, it could still maintain a satisfactory black level in the movie scenes without sacrifying detail in the dark smile.gif

No such grey white background when watching blu-ray, so it's all about how you adjust the necessary settings.

Yeah, I'm using full hd resolution for my pc, also using the same dvi-hdmi to connect to TV. To get sharp looking font (just like a normal LCD monitor), all I need to do is set the picture mode to "PC-user" at the quick menu. But mine is 42RV600E lar... I guess ZV should be the same too? sweat.gif

Other picture modes I choose (Autoview, Dynamic, Standard, Game) will cause the text to "shadow" a bit or sometimes oversharpen too much, like what you said. Mild and Movie is slightly better but looks too dim for my taste, so sticking with PC-user is still the best laugh.gif

Back at my hometown, my dad's LG 42LG53FR has no such "PC mode", so I had to manually tune the sharpness setting to zero in order to get the same PC-like effect. Might be useful to know for those people using other brand TVs brows.gif

Hey, haven't seen you post any photo since you changed to your new TV? How is your new setup now? Ambilight still there? tongue.gif Share share lah... drool.gif

I use sony klv-32v550a with my laptop. Font is very clear even with just 1m away, can browse file without any problem. I just use default setting, haven't try other setting or maybe it just 32". I also use cheap 3m HDMI cable RM27 at Tesco, but now it just RM15.
