Nice info on the Toshiba ZV600E, I'm almost convinced in getting one. I'm looking at this one along with 2 other models - Sharp A77 and LG50. As for the Toshiba's features, what does it have that the Sharp & LG doesn't?

Daren, I read this review the other day and was impressed with its features. Do you agree with the reviewer's cons vs the ZV (especially milky blacks)? The black level wont certainly be that of the plasma's black level isn't it?

QUOTE(marky @ Mar 15 2010, 04:37 PM) RV600E is 1k cheaper too.... so RV dont use meta brain premium? Apparently not, based on the RV's specs, it only has meta brain (power). Only the ZV's got the meta brain premium.

AFAIK, movies are filmed at 24 fps. This is the standard sampling rate. The 1080/24p tv is just showing the picture in its native form. The judder is a natural byproduct of the 24 fps rate. If you have the option to play bluray movies in either 24p or 60p, maybe 60p would be more stable.

I was informed that the ZV-series has been discontinued. The salesperson I asked has no idea whether a replacement model has been released or going to be released. Anyone here who knows otherwise?

QUOTE(y32kit @ Feb 21 2011, 06:14 PM) I went back to the electrical shop & they told me some sorry excuse that due to the LED is fragile, so the manufacturer (ie: Toshiba) have to make the sound softer... What a load of crap from the salesman. I dont know if I'd laugh or be upset thinking how stupid he thinks his customer is. Anyhow, is there an automatic volume levelling option in the tv? Maybe you can use this option in the meantime to maintainn some sort of consistency in the tv's volume. Or else, it could be a defect of the tv, call the service center so they can send a technician to inspect the tv.
