QUOTE(idoblu @ Mar 14 2010, 08:19 AM) how about if compare with its adik - RV series? any comments? Yes, the biggest difference between ZV and RV is the glossy vs matte screen, and also the Clearscan 200Hz on the ZV.i noticed the difference between ZV and RV series is that ZV series have a gloss surface and therefore more reflections than the RV which is matt. but the gloss surface really enhance the picture quality - I like! Glossy makes the panel appear blacker, but is prone to reflection I took these with my phone camera at Harvey Norman Sunway Pyramid this afternoon: 42ZV on the left, 47ZV on the right. Can you see the reflection on the 42ZV at this angle? From the front however, the reflection is not noticable. Over at SenQ, they actually have ZV and RV at the same spot for you to compare. ZV appears a lot blacker than RV, but also more reflections. Another view. For me, I have chosen RV because I don't need 200Hz (I mostly watch 24p movies), I prefer matte over glossy, I prefer a thinner frame, and of course because it is cheaper |

I mean ZV. I pick the ZV coz it comes with a sub and Audyssey EQ .. Poor man try to get everything in 1 LCD. ZV looks nicer coz it is using the Meta Brain Premium, other then the... 200Mhz thing.. Btw.. anybody know what this panel is from i mean the ZV? from samsung or sharp? This post has been edited by dc28yk: Mar 15 2010, 01:33 AM |

For me,I will go for ZV.Come with 200hz instead of 50hz/60hz for most of plasma/LCD in the market now.About the reflection,I not to take serious about this due to when watching movies you only sit in front of it not at the side view Glossy makes the panel appear blacker, but is prone to reflection I took these with my phone camera at Harvey Norman Sunway Pyramid this afternoon: 42ZV on the left, 47ZV on the right. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « If you have all black background picture, then the reflection is obvious. For normal picture viewing, it is minimal or none You chosen RV because you know exactly what you want for the LCD TV within your budget and this is the best way to enjoy your new buy with no regret Added on March 15, 2010, 12:19 pm QUOTE(dc28yk @ Mar 15 2010, 01:32 AM) Ahahaha.. If compare their features, Toshiba wins hand down. I recommend you compare them with your own eyes and get the one you like the most because you are the one goin to watch it everyday and not us Added on March 15, 2010, 12:29 pm QUOTE(marky @ Mar 15 2010, 09:53 AM) torn between this, aquos LED and samsung LED series 6...sigh decisions decisions >< ofcoz those extra 500 bux lol Samung LED looks more impressive to me in terms of PQ, just my observation This post has been edited by darenlks: Mar 15 2010, 12:29 PM |

Everyone else has bought 42ZV600E at >RM3.5k so far and right before CNY I also bought 42RV600E at RM3k (inclusive of wall mount bracket and installation which usually cost RM199)
Which shop so desperate to sell so cheap? Display set? Or shop gonna close down? I refuse to believe ZV selling lower than RV price until somebody go buy it and show us the receipt+photo! Even if the list show ZV, it could be a typo and when the stock arrive is RV Somebody... prove it! |

Bro TS,
How's the performance of this LCD if i use it mainly for astro (not astro beyond)... Still thinking whether to stay put with CRT, or someone told me for astro, plasma is the better choice. But dunno why i prefer lcd than plasma. But wanna know 1st, b4 make the decision. Thanks |
