most acers utilize AMD, so overgaming causes heat problems. i only game less than 3 hours a day, and i dont ven use a cooler. IMO, it's how you interpret "laptop gaming" as viable

those heat management on AMD is old old news. check out Asus k40/50ab ..and c how many satisfied users are there. Palm rest is even cooler than studio 15 intel based  doh.gif

asus is overpriced. to overcome heat problems with laptops all you need is smart usage and a little touch from some good laptop coolers. about the palm rest, whoever gets a laptop to play games as well, i dont think they use the touchpad to actually note the difference

3 months is quite short to test the hypothesis. plus is depends on the laptop as being work oriented or media oriented. most importantly, is it acer?

i wish it was true, then you could consider.

plus, this thing could come in short, and we dont have a real 5470 benchmark, which is considered the weakest GPU in 5xxx mobile series

rule of thumb; everything above $200(IIRC), will be taxed. which is why iPhone costs 1.5k outside MY, and 3k inside
