Hey, i saw a CES 2010 release saying it has a HD5650? Maybe you sould wait for the 5650 Its on par with 4670 i think..

ODM and OEM's are behind it.. dont worry.. Brand stands for their service/support for my opinion.. and so does most notebookreview members..

Well i have to say their quality has gone up a bit i guess.. they're not as bad as the white acer's quality LoL.. and ur Quality meaning the build or parts?

Parts are OEM Intel, Nvidia, ATI, Quanta, Samsung, Kingston, Hynix, Foxconn, WD, Seagate and too amny more.. dont bother..

build and design? well thats where the brand comes in .. For me i'd be worry on how to take care of it..

Most cases i see ppl blame the brand even when the ram, cpu, gpu, ram, hdd fails.. its not the fault of the brand.. because those are OEM parts..

If i not mistaken its not our for sale yet.. We mgiht be seeing it by the end of jan or early feb..

HD5650 would be around HD4650 - HD4670 LoL in a benchmark.. I think it would be over 4670 though..

the weird thing is i have a friend who dropped his 6935g and i forgot what didnt work.. Highpoint Service exchanged the parts and back to normal LoL.. I wonder what is that? Do they include accidental damage? He did told the manager he dropped it by accident.. In 3 days its back new even replaced the damaged case..

Im guessing the manager just tried to please him.. as i recall acer extended warranty doesnt have accidental damage covered.. But they did state Parts and Labour warranty.. So maybe the service centre claimed it as "normal damage" lol..

Unless it is in unfixable means nid whole set replacement issue i guess LoL.. Then this will not be covered

yes up to 3 years warranty.. Maybe he meant dell has On-site service and complete cover unlike acer's warranty...

and u can do unlimited repairs

yea.. its what stated in my Super Care 2 Warranty Booklet Almost 1 year no problems

Glossy laptops definitely scratches easily.. I've seen an acer 4736 which has suffered heavy scratches on its glossy shell .. =.= i wonder what did my friend do to it.. His backpack is just a normal backpack.. he told me he just dumped it in.. LoL..

Some has 5470 or 5650 in it.. Prices should vary..
