QUOTE(i7xQTi @ Jan 10 2010, 11:03 AM) i5>c2D i5-500M should be slightly better than C2D T/P9000s...5470>4670(dun remember) 500GB HDD>320GB 4gb RAM>2GB the only thing s57 is great against this new hottie is probably the blu-ray HD5470 80SP, HD4670 320SP, how u want to compare??? HD5470 is merely a HD4570 on steroid... This post has been edited by astria: Jan 10 2010, 11:19 AM |

i can guarantee u that even in DX11 games, HD4670 will still perform better than HD5470, as in the frames per second...
HD5470 has only 80SP, which is the same as HD4570.... but of course, since HD5470 is made in 40nm, the core clock will be slightly higher... with the option to go with GDDR5, which provides twice the bandwidth of GDDR3, that's wat make HD5470 to be a HD4570 on steroid... HD4670 has 320SP by comparison... anyway, if u ask me, unless the HD5470 goes with GDDR5, i dun see the harm of sticking to HD4570... This post has been edited by astria: Jan 10 2010, 03:14 PM |

QUOTE(coolredz @ Mar 2 2010, 05:44 PM) Solitaire perhaps??? jokes aside, HD5400 series is a total disappointment if u ask me... it's spec is basically the same as HD4500, with the exception of GDDR5 support on HD5470... honestly speaking, it's more of a deterioration rather than improvement... well, i guess AMD can't really raise the spec of the entry cards...
else those using HD3600 can throw away their laptop already... |

QUOTE(~MadMaN~ @ Mar 8 2010, 10:21 PM) awww shud tell me earlier, aready gave deposit for tiz laptop ... overall is it good? value for price? well, it's stll value for the price...the main reason y i said this is becuz HD5470 and HD4570 are basically the same in terms of performance... last yr it's pretty alright using HD4570... Dell Studio 15 was selling like hot cake with it's impressive graphic performance after being updated to HD4570... but this yr with the same performance, HD5470 really lacks performance needed to run games well... i guess Alien vs Predator should be a pretty good benchmark... but well, it's all probably juz AMD's marketing need, else they would upset those who are using HD3650/HD3670... |

that 1.5" probably already cost rm200 at the minimum, to Acer, they talk abt surface area, not diagonal length...
RAM probably rm100 (since they do tray order, so it's cheaper) GPU + CPU for sure more than rm200... |
