I wonder if we can plan a Concert that will be hosted by Shanghai Angels and a few more invited guests like Mei-Mei. Maybe have it in a smaller Venue like Bentley building near the Curve.

Good idea. You need and help (back stage workers, make reading materials, ...) I offer you free service.

Subang,
G8 is the last exam right? Like that then concert empire is planing should be just in time.

Does anyone know of good schools in the PJ area to learn erhu? I bought an erhu on a whim from China, and I'm interested in taking a month's intensive/fast track classes to learn the basics of playing the erhu. Got strong background in piano/music theory, not sure if that's relevant for chinese musical instruments.

Thanks!

minty...strong piano foundation will help only a little when it comes to erhu. Forgot about learning from youtube. There's no way you can learn the right technique without a good erhu Teacher.

nd211...welcome! We welcome more new people who have the same passion for chinese musical instruments...especially Chinese people who are not so proficient in Chinese language like me. hehehe...

It is not easy to find such people who appreciate Chinese instruments.
People who speak Mandarin and chiense diaects fluently appreciate this more.
