Yes, cracking at the chrome bezel part and the peeling issue is common for the back battery cover. You can google it up, even at the 1st page there are pics for reference. Of course you can buy a new housing, I've seen someone selling in the garage section for RM180. Ori or not I'm not too sure.

to prevent hanging.. backup your microSD and format it. It should work perfectly after that. Works for me.

You can set Microsoft DirectPush for Push Email.

^It depends on the problem. If the phone freeze although he din't try to open or play any file from his memory card, then it has nothing to with his memory card, therefore format for?

I see. If thats the case, I think most probably is your rom's problem. Let the data connection turned on all the time shoulden be a problem at all for a normal x1.

Since your x1 is running on stock rom, try online update your rom then. It might help you solve the problem

I didnt know that we can perform a Hardspl using the micro sd flash method. I thought hard spl can only be done using a pc? U sure about that?

yeah. hard-spl only can be done on pc.. no way on microsd for that.

other than that, those offering service outside on the market, either is too costly or too mess to setup.
