Guys, I'm confused.
Valkyrie FireStormLEO 23517 is Windows Mobile 6.5 or 6.5.3? I mean, the Start button is at the top or bottom? This post has been edited by tompok82: Jan 7 2010, 05:04 AM |

Been using FireStorm LEO 23517 since 6.00 AM today.
Everything seems to be in working order. Talking about speed, I see no difference with 28014 LEO II. No differences at all. Though I'm a bit confused. If now it's already 28014 for WM 6.5.3, why it's going back to 23571 numbering? |

QUOTE(xcen @ Jan 7 2010, 02:27 PM) Because 28xxx series is the newer ones, with more experimental things in it. When it is stable, then it will be transferred to 23xxx, which have less buggy experiments. So WM7 is still using the Windows CE 5 platform?Microsoft is currently developing the new WM in different 'waves', experimenting various ideas. When everything is done, you'll see that they package it to WM7, with extra eye candy of course. Damn, I thought they are going all out new like Windows Vista for PC. So my next upgrade should be an android based platform. |

QUOTE(chinseng85 @ Jan 7 2010, 03:20 PM) lolx, have u seen WM7? how come u know it looks like windows vista. I never said Windows Mobile 7 looks like Windows Vista.well it might be possible. who knows. I said "I thought it's an all new platform just like Windows Vista for PC". Windows Vista is a different platform from Windows XP. It's totally different, that's why when you switch from Windows XP to Windows Vista, you have to find new drivers for the hardwares as well. I was hoping WM7 to be like Windows Vista which is an all new platform. I didn't say I was hoping WM7 to look like Windows Vista. |

QUOTE(cutiesbaby312 @ Jan 7 2010, 03:38 PM) if i'm not mistaken.. linux? lolx.. hahaha Android is a mobile operating system running on the Linux kernel. It was initially developed by Android Inc., a firm later purchased by Google, and lately by the Open Handset Alliance. It allows developers to write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Google-developed Java libraries. The unveiling of the Android distribution on 5 November 2007 was announced with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 47 hardware, software, and telecom companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices. Google released most of the Android code under the Apache License, a free software and open source license. Taken from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_(operating_system) |

Somehow FireStormLEO 23517 doesn't work as well as FireStormLEO 28014.
Simetimes the SMS ringtone doesn't make any sound, sometimes it just make half of the sound. Darn it. I know I should've followed my instinct to stay with FireStormLEO 28014 instead of flashing to FireStormLEO 23517. |

Someone is selling a Samsung Omnia 2 i8000 8GB at RM1000.
Wanted to buy it badly, but since I've already ordered a Vinyl Skin for my Xperia, had to cancel my pulse to buy the Omnia 2 i8000. |
