That one is not related to DiGi ler. It is your phone. If I am not mistaken, Nokia phone has this where if no signal, it will show a 3G symbol (which means your 3G is on).

Hi all, new DG50+Prepaid supp user checking in, with some questions, hope you all can help

1) Is the sms rate counted in a "per-page" basis rather than a "per message" basis? When checking my unbilled transactions I see that many of my smses are billed twice, just want to know if this is indeed standard practice.

2) Also when checking my unbilled transactions, I find that I am still being charged (although only 2 times) for my calls to my DG Family supplementary line, though they could be the times I got into voicemail. Does that mean that if your supp line is engaged and you get into voicemail, you will be charged? (Quite ridiculous imo)

I know I should be directing these questions to DiGi CS instead, but I just wanna share these here first and see if anyone else has the same experience.

1) The standard practice for all telcos is "per-page" basis. You can be sending a SMS but with 5 worth long of SMS, then it will be charged five times.

2) This one I'm not really sure, you shouldn't be charged. Maybe you can check with CS on this matter.

I have seen a person selling off his Ambassador lines on LYN, which is totally against DiGi's policy. Those lines are free lines. This will cause current users may face with a new plan revision again. Apparently, this plan was revised due to some unethical ex-DiGi employees sold off those lines for few thousands ringgits. Else, Ambassador plan can be much cheaper and have much more benefits.

right. ambassador was much better before. now it's not so worthit, but still on top of other plans

1) SMS are counted by characters. 160 characters is equal to 1 sms (for Chinese characters, it is lesser). If you exceed 160 characters, you will be into 2nd sms although on you phone, it is continuous.

2) Yes, voice mail will be charged because it is totally different service which is not in free voice calls/sms/mms. Ask the person you call to deactivate voice mails unless he/she is really using it.

Eh, fruitie. Does DiGi have international roaming in Australia? Might be heading there soon so just wanna confirm with you guys
