The referees need to be blamed too...I saw many bad tacklings goin on around the field and no action has been taken (warning or flash card). We're like playing in a kind of anti-football situation plus all the snow thingy. Birmingham held MU to a draw, happy happy  laugh.gif

I am very disappointed with Almunia, his decision making is very questionable. Didn't try much to save the goals and wth coming to clash with sagna? For me yst's game, diaby saved Arsenal again with the nice counter-attack move.

Wenger on Denilson's injury...
"I have just seen him in the dressing room and he can walk quite normally. We will have to see, is it a broken rib or a deeper problem with his lungs? We don't know."

Its a good thing that United drew.

Well on Almunia, He's a decent GK. I disagree on most of you who thinks he's not good enough. He's certainly much better than Manone and Fabianski. I wonder whether most of ur judgement is basement on just a game.

Our midfield weren't good enough. I think we've pretty much missed Song big time, thats how Pienaar scored that goal. Most of the time Song would be the one back tracking.
Strikers been missing too many chances, Eduardo in this case. We do need a quality finisher.
Back 4 was really shaky. Gallas was caught doing mistakes due to bad whether. I'm not really a fan of Traore. I think he is still young and immature at his decision making.

Most of you guys are thinking by signing players, we would win games. Its not easy to sign any player to fit the team. We have to consider about the teamwork and also whether the player suits our style of play. Thats how Wenger makes his judgement. Most of the players AW bought fits perfectly to the team.
Credits to Everton, they played really well. Could have won it.

hey dude....every time he plays we never get a clean sheet...thats proof of rubbish goal keeping...mannone played a few games for us got 3 clean sheet that say something, and the fulham game was amazing....i know he is young but. he is so much better than the clown almunia.

Added on January 10, 2010, 12:25 pmok that was a bit harsh..not everytime la...but most of the time...really...check the stat...leaking goal...

yesterday saw Arsenal can't compete with physical battle match.
fellaini dominate the midfield battle winning all the 50-50 ball.
both Arsenal gol was luck deflection, other than that no real test for howard.
dudu not really match fit, and vela much better on wing than a targetman...
ya, buying new player need time to settle in to the team, that why AW like to go with local player at bpl (c.cole) but he need to remember the purchase of jeffers is a waste.
with denilson injured, u think marida can stepup?
really disapointed with the 2nd goal, where was armand or denilson or sagna to cover the defence?

when Denilson collapsed, i was fearing the worse. with all the history of the death during the match recent years, i was really fearing the worse. that was really classless from Cahill to keep on playing after seeing fellow players collapsing like that

what the news for his injury anyway? anybody have the update?

nah... with Gallas and Denilson "sudden"injury, it seems like someone playing Voodoo pinching needle into their puppet.

Well, no doubt that Rosky scored the equalizer, but he is also the one that gave the ball cheaply prior to Pineer's counter attack. If it was Diaby that gave the ball off, then LYN would have crucified him already.

Diaby does has a solid game, he stay strong on many tough challenge and won't the ball off. Together with Nasri been busy running mid field trying to pul things together. Just that Felleni (sorry spelling, the afro hair guy) and co has a good game.

Further more, the weather causing field and vision poor- affect our technical game, but not so much on everton's physical game.

Wat to do, just pick ourself up and move on to next game.

We need AW to get reinforcements. With our thin squad, its very tough to contend for the title with the 4 crucial match coming up end of the month. Those 4 matches could be our title decider. We cant afford any injury to any of our defensive players. If we wanna spend, this is the correct season where we shud spend and go for it.

After all, this is the most tight title race in 4 years.

I thought the game was played in very good spirits. As much as I hated the way Fellaini bossed the midfield, I have to say almost 90% of his tackles were spot on. And while P Neville's tackle totally KO-ed Denilson, I felt that it was the right decision.

And it wasn't anti-football for me, coz I rather quite enjoyed watching the match. If we had scored the equaliser around the 80-90 minute, we may well have stood a chance of getting the winner during Fergie time.

What kinda good spirit? All I see was a bunch of players lunging at each other on the pitch...If it was not anti-football then I don't know what it is? Besides, there ain't any warning by the referee and this might be the first time I saw Vermaelen being stay on the ground for long after a tackle.
