"Bentleyitis" i LOL at this but having read the article, it is somewhat true and that stare that Gallas gave wilshere... chilling... huhuhu...

Please la jack... you're only 18. there's a lot more to learn. Don't get in over your head la. haih....

on the good side of the new... Tommy signed new contract with Arsenal. I do hope he'll be healthy because we need his experience and vision.

QUOTE(ProbMan @ Jan 4 2010, 09:36 AM)
Apparently, it is not really a good choice to play Offside trap on opponent's ground.
*
Huh? Playing for offside means keeping a high line of defense. If the line is kept well, no reason why we won't get the flag. For the tactic to work, we need a leader at the back who is always standing slightly behind the other 3. What is more important is for the other 3 to be in tandem and ensure that they are never behind the last man.
Or all 4 of them can just learn to raise their hands at the same time tongue.gif (that works!!)

QUOTE(tungfunglaw @ Jan 4 2010, 11:04 PM)
hmm..u must have missed a number of matches..
Coming back from injuiry, Diaby has been fantastic in terms of both offensive and defensive but it's the former that he's more better at..
He might not be as good as Song while defending but rite now he's da toughest CM we have at the moment.. thumbup.gif
Denilson is quite decent but he's too easily brush aside by bigger opponents while Merida is yet ready for BPL as what we can see during da match against WH.
*
Merida is not a defensive player. To put him in the Song role would be suicidal. He's more like Fab, a roaming offensive midfielder with goals in his locker.

On loan at Nuremberg in Bundesliga. Have been used quite a lot this season but in mixture of center defense and midfield.

yep at nuremberg. he's also about 19 y.o going to be 20 this year. a lot of positives been heard about him before but quiet at germany. all i know is that he's been use quite a bit there. hoping that it'll be good experience for him. biggrin.gif

Just to add some stats;

Nordtveit for Nuremberg

25 starts and only once was substituted out. Only 1 yellow card so far.
For a defensive players with that many games, the solitary yellow card is certainly good news. Maybe he's the reason why Wenger is not yet investing in another central defender. tongue.gif

Song and Cesc both deserve it. To be honest, w/o Song, Cesc wouldn't have the chance to go upfront. So, may be, i'll give this one to him. He deserved it as equal to Cesc's contribution.

Arsenal's match is on Thursday morning. So far they are showing any other live events at that time. Hopefully they will change within these 2 days. My fingers are crossed.
