did you ever watch the game??
somehow we dun deserve the word "great" and "win" until 60+ mins, WH are not lucky. it is a mistake from our defenders
*
i thought it was a great cup game where league position does not have any effect to the match. both teams prefer attacking rather than defending, with us understandably having more of the possession. West Ham however looks very dangerous on counter attack. and with Silvestre playing the left back position, anything is possible from their counter attack

however, i do think we slightly deserve the win as we controlled the game more and having more clear chances. Carlos Vela showed what he can do when he make a run on defenders, god knows how come he did not do it more often during the first half

and i say this again, Dudu goal was pure class

i think, vela will give a threat to def if he tried to move up forward. before the 1st goal, he always back pass.

if he try to run at defender, that's better. look at the cross, and ramsey goal. it was vela who go thru the center. before the goal, back pass all the time.

hope he can improve biggrin.gif

yup, that had been the case more than not for Dudu

what i want to stress out is that everything about the goal were pure class. Alex Song was superb when starting the move, the cross by Carlos Vela was inch perfect so does the header from Dudu. make no mistake about it, that was a very difficult header to execute. hopefully this will bring back Dudu confidence in front of goal in which seems to be lacking recently

Apparently, it is not really a good choice to play Offside trap on opponent's ground.

personally i dun think vela did well beside contribute the goal assist
most of the time he receive the ball he do some swing then just pass backward if not wrong that cross is the only pass which flew beyond his marker

A typical center forward goal, not too tall but can head....right jump at the right time....

Ya that's what i'm going to say. Vela is a very special boy to me, his skill, his vision. I even rate him higher than wilshere or ramsey. But in this morning match, he was very normal.

If you guys are knocking Vela, then surely Eduardo deserves similar treatment. In the first half, both of them looked out of place, perhaps because Dudu was on the left and Vela was in the middle.

After switching around and the introduction of more experienced hands, they both sprung to life and on this basis, I have to say Vela was more involved compared to Dudu. Vela is quite composed on the ball and perhaps has better dribbling ability and definitely pace.

Its clear to see that both Ramsey and Vela are still inexperienced player once they got targeted by the opposition.. the introduction of SN and AD both draw some attention away and the switch role for both Dudu and CV allow both to grow on the match.

With more games, now that we advances to 4th round, they will be more comfortable on the pitch hopefully.

Hopefully, the 2nd goal will open the floodgate for Dudu.. you can see that his confidence returned the way his celebration are.. compare that with his goal celebration before..

Good game overall.. AA23 got his deserved rest, Dudu found his scoring boot (and hopefully his confidences as wel) and Vela, Merida all got another chance later.

Now pray for some backup defenders to give both Billy and TV some breather before its too late.

quite shock reading the Arsene Wenger comments on The Sun.. "I wish I was Fergie" ARSENE WENGER is jealous of Manchester United's FA Cup exit because he reckons it has done them a huge Champions League favour

.. he want Arsenal lose last night against West Ham.. so can give a concentrate on UCL and league..

haha why did prof bother about other team exit(sarcasm maybe)? tongue.gif I don't think united did found it easy on UCL either.. Not dat i
slagged off porto but our record vs porto is quite better compare to united record vs milan. So imo i'm very² glad
regarding our comeback to send the hammers packing last nite and were still in contention for The Trebles dis season. biggrin.gif

haha! That's the arsene wenger I know...always quick with witty sarcasm. I bet some media will twist that statement and wedge a spark between SAF and AW again just for story sake.

Seriously, can't take that statement as it is.
