I guess Wenger tried his best to put FA cup considered a better cup than Carling.

Quite a decent team and pretty solid back four.

Diaby - I'll talk to Wenger about Song role

By Nick Teale

Abou Diaby says he will speak to Arsène Wenger about taking on Alex Song's role while the 22-year-old is away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Frenchman has recently signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal and has been touted as a possible replacement for Song in the defensive-midfield role.

The Cameroon international has made the position his own this season and no other player has featured in more Gunners games than he has.

Diaby is one of a number of players who has been linked with taking on the role in Song's absence and, speaking after the 2-1 FA Cup victory over West Ham United on Sunday afternoon, the Frenchman said he would be happy to help out.

"I will talk about that with the manager and if he wants me to play in that position, I am happy to do it," he said. "We will see what happens.

"Alex is a very important player in our team. Because he is going, we have to replace him and make sure we do the same job without him."

Good news is Wenger condemns the postponements as they kinda break our stride. I bet he's eager to get tomorrow's game going.

And in the same article, he also said that RvP is like 2 weeks away from returning.

Wenger said bendtner will be back in 2 weeks not RvP.Rvp as we all know long term injury. How i wish it was rvp to be back soon whistling.gif

Ramsey is the worst of all today.misplaced passes and loses possesion all the time.the others so-so only
*
Ramsey and Nasri noted for me.Misplace passes frequently.Arshavin and Eduardo can't even get feeded with any ball from midfield.

Gallas was very hardworking in defending and even attacking.Arsenal was so weak in attacking that either Vermaelan or Gallas had to rush front and assist.

Arsene Wenger need to buy A midfield NOWWW.POor midfield play making eduardo and arshavin like a dummy.

ONCE AGAIN no urge to score from Arsenal until 1 goal down.Should have the game in hand long time already but wasted opportunity and time frequently.

Thank god Rosicky came back from injury already to help Arsenal.I bet he felt relieve to pay back the believes of Arsenal for him after this years of injury he had.

For me,Traore was really poor in the game but he did well enough. Each time he did a mistake or let a player slip pass through he redeem his mistake back.Silvestre will be dead if left against Donovan.

Diaby was pretty hardworking today.Yea he never show any highly contribution but without him Arsenal could be down with more goals.

Now i hope Denilson and Gallas will be alright although i doubt Denilson will be back anytime soon.

Time to support Birmingham. They are 1-0 up already haha.

Anyway Almunia for me is really a shaky keeper. Not a consistent one very much like David James type. When he is on form, nothing can pass him.But when he goes to bad,he plays like an inexperience keeper.

I believe Wenger will never change the goal keeper department. He still trust Almunia more than any of us.As much as u guys like Mannone,u should know he is still very young for a goalkeeper.

Wenger needs to spend but appropriately on the right place. If ANC still goes on I am sure Wenger knew what he had to do to make sure they Arsenal is on top or not far from the leader when Arsenal finishes all top four matches by 2nd week of February.

QUOTE(ocz @ Jan 10 2010, 02:42 AM)
Guys, i am sorry to interrupt..
Some of you might say the snow made the situations of the game become difficult.
Most of reactions against the weather and wanted to call off the game for tonight.

One thing that i don't really understand, some might get other reactions if the games called off,now after the game been played, some still want to complain about the weather.

Sorry for what i've said.
I am based on what i read from few pages back. notworthy.gif
*
The wheather for first 45 minutes is like normal London conditions. But after the half-time u can see the snow suddenly go heavily and players start to slip here and there. In just 10 minutes u can see the field is already filled with snow and there be a track behind players wherever they run.

It is really hard to play in this condition.Everton played really well today and draw for Arsenal is really a fair result already considering both team have lots of players in the injury room.

What Vermaelen is to Arsenal today is just about the same as Vidic to United last season.
I wonder what MU fans think of him now..

Similiar in terms of defending ability is good but not the red cards against Liverpool laugh.gif

A little flame will be good to cherish up this thread and make it more lively.

Arsenal only need to win all the way and then media will make an upside turn of what they have been reporting.

Really don't care all those stupid news man.

Gibbs out whole season.Bendtner will be back soon.Good and bad news at the same time.

How i wish rVP is still here and where will Arsenal be at the moment.

Anyway without Song in team there seems to be more players showing up their abilities now like Merida and Coquelin. For them to be such young players(similiar age of me) sure it is one hell of an achievements.

How i wish to be them smile.gif

How come Wenger still trust Silvestre?I rather take Senderos anytime man.He is really useless whether in CB or LB.

Anyway, this team is really Carling-like cup team already. To be there still holding on with the super physical battle is wonderful.

Walcott and Vela really can't play together. Both can't really cross.

I am glad we Arsenal is out.Less game to play. From the first 11 line up already tell what Wenger really want in the cup.

Anyway once again Silvestre Worst man of the match.
