i would have another idea with this. playing walcott agaisnt evra will be an option.
my point is..
evra is an attacking defensive wingman.. and playing a super fast winger against him might make him think twice to do more and more overlaps and crossing to our box. since his position would be vulnerable for a fast direct counter attack ( which theo is the right man for this).
next, the speed of theo would have some advantage on defending since he can keep up with evra's run. though hes not good at tackling but at least he can keep up and gives pressure to evra, not to cross perfectly.
only AW should ask theo to do more defensive work if he wants to play, and wait for a counter attack on his side.
bendy is back ( not sendy or beandy) so a fast counter and a high cross to the box is like adding another option in our attack.
I disagree,
Walcott was on song before we faced Man Utd last term in the Champs League Semis
Evra managed to keep walcott silent for over 2 legs.
Considering that is Walcott with his confidence up high.
Current Walcott's confidence is so low, AW shud not even consider a starting place for walcott.
I think we're better off with Rosicky or Eboue on the right flank
