Foyer is the big big place right after you enter Sunway University. After you passed through Information Center, before cafeteria and financial center. You can see a lot students sitting there, filled with yellow tables.

I'm not very sure about the,
"Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Continuing Scholarship"
Sunway Foundation in Arts, >= 80% (Tuition fee waiver of 30%)

I'm curious to know that the 30% tuition fee waiver is actually the tuition fee waiver for the full course (Year 1,2 and 3) or just the first year.
*
It applies to year 1,2 and 3. But you must meet the average after your degree's year 1 for the scholarhship in year 2 and year 2's average for year 3.

Scholars on 30% scholarship must meet a minimum of 65% grade average, while for scholars on 50% or 75% scholarship must meet a minimum of 70% average.

Is it upgradeable or downgrade-able?
Like, let's say my first year I have 65% grade average so I'm entitled for 30% scholarship. And the second year I have 70% grade average and I will be entitled for 50% or 75% scholarship, OR vice versa.

And, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship,
-Can I get a scholarship if I had a foundation from other college (Not doing STPM, A-levels, AUSMAT, CIMP, UEC)
And is it possible to get the Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Continuing Scholarship for second or third year in my degree if I did my pre-U in other college (Not doing STPM, A-levels, AUSMAT, CIMP, UEC)

It is definitely not upgradeable. As for downgradeable, it is subject to the scholarship committee. Previously the marketing department have told me there are such cases for downgrading scholarship.

The Continuing scholarship, is only for those who have completed either Pre-U, Foundation or Diploma programmes with Sunway University / College.
For non ex-Sunway students, you are refering to the Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship. However, foundation results from other colleges are not eligible for the scholarship.

Thx a lot, Gaga!!! I'm one of your little monsters rclxm9.gif

Btw, since I'm just a SPM leaver now, is "65% grade average" something hard to achieve?
I know I can't compare to SPM, but I'm a student aiming aiming and expecting 9 to 10As.

I have a few questions regarding the A-Levels programme (: (i'm going for the march intake)

1. The SPM results aren't out yet, so can i use my trial results instead of forecast results? The thing is, we only can choose between 2 options in the application form - Actual OR Forecast results only, but is trials okay?

2. Is it okay if I send both my residence form and my college application form together to the Admissions & Counseling unit? Can I also include all registration/application fees in ONE cheque? (RM 1100 in total)

3. Subject enrolment will only take place during orientation, right? So does that mean I'll only have to pay my subject fees on the orientation day?

4. After receiving my application, the college will confirm with me through mail or email? Just in case, because i might be going abroad biggrin.gif

Thanks!
*
Hi there.
1. You can use your trial result or forecast result to apply.
2. You can send both forms to Admissions and Counselling Unit and RM1100 in one cheque
3. You will be paying for your first semester fee when you start on 21 March.
4. We will be couriering the offer letter to you.

Hey,

I require some advice. I've already signed up in your MUFY programme and I will continue my studies in Monash U after completing this programme in the field of information technology (either a degree in Comp Science or IT/Systems). So, my question is, what subjects do I have to take as I understand, the required compulsory subjects to continue into this field is Mathematics, English and Computer Science. However, for my fourth subject, can I take Economics or Globalisation (since both of these subjects is not related to the computing field).

Thanks in advance.
*
Hi there. The only pre-requisite to take Computer Science or IT is English and Maths. Therefore, you can choose Economics or Globalisation as your 4th subject.

Anyone here know what time does the AUSMAT and FIA starts and what time it ends? I would like to know the schedule or time-table since the Sunway bus starts at 7 and 530.....

I don't want to end class at 2pm and have to wait for the 530 bus

Like what SunwayU always says, "tough is a very subjective question" tongue.gif . However, in my PERSONAL opinion, for someone that can get 9 to 10As in SPM. Judging from your achievement, there shouldn't be any problem to maintain above 65% average.

The earliest class would start at 8:30a.m and ends latest by 4:30p.m with an exception of MQA subjects which ends at 5:30p.m.

you are implying that all or a majority of the students there are like that ^^"
That would not be accurate at all,in fact what do you base that on? a small number of students that you have seen? A friend you know who goes to Sunway who is like that? ^^" You will find those kind of people anywhere.

So? If they can sustain such a lifestyle I'd like to have them as friends as I know they're from rich families aka sons and daughters of wealthy people in Malaysia. And on the other hand, I will know my limits and study hard, while also making friends with those who are good in their academics. And girls going to clubs are terrible? Ask your mum or dad, probably they went clubbing before during their younger days, it's a normal thing dude. Your points do not hold water.

And by the way, I found this.

Seriously, you either have a prejudice against women, or are jealous because your results aren't good enough to enter Sunway. As for money, I don't think that's a problem as you can head over to MOS, and Sunway has a lot of scholarships favouring good students. Seriously, you make me LMAO. Don't put Chinese people to shame by your outrageous statements, can or not?

Hi there. If you wish to resit for your subject, you will need to check with the JB campus. If you wish to appeal for your scholarship, you will need to put in an appeal, but no guarantee.
