I'm not very sure about the,
"Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Continuing Scholarship"
Sunway Foundation in Arts, >= 80% (Tuition fee waiver of 30%)

I'm curious to know that the 30% tuition fee waiver is actually the tuition fee waiver for the full course (Year 1,2 and 3) or just the first year.

It applies to year 1,2 and 3. But you must meet the average after your degree's year 1 for the scholarhship in year 2 and year 2's average for year 3.

Scholars on 30% scholarship must meet a minimum of 65% grade average, while for scholars on 50% or 75% scholarship must meet a minimum of 70% average.

Is it upgradeable or downgrade-able?
Like, let's say my first year I have 65% grade average so I'm entitled for 30% scholarship. And the second year I have 70% grade average and I will be entitled for 50% or 75% scholarship, OR vice versa.

And, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship,
-Can I get a scholarship if I had a foundation from other college (Not doing STPM, A-levels, AUSMAT, CIMP, UEC)
And is it possible to get the Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Continuing Scholarship for second or third year in my degree if I did my pre-U in other college (Not doing STPM, A-levels, AUSMAT, CIMP, UEC)

It is definitely not upgradeable. As for downgradeable, it is subject to the scholarship committee. Previously the marketing department have told me there are such cases for downgrading scholarship.

The Continuing scholarship, is only for those who have completed either Pre-U, Foundation or Diploma programmes with Sunway University / College.
For non ex-Sunway students, you are refering to the Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship. However, foundation results from other colleges are not eligible for the scholarship.

Thx a lot, Gaga!!! I'm one of your little monsters rclxm9.gif

Btw, since I'm just a SPM leaver now, is "65% grade average" something hard to achieve?
I know I can't compare to SPM, but I'm a student aiming aiming and expecting 9 to 10As.

Anyone here know what time does the AUSMAT and FIA starts and what time it ends? I would like to know the schedule or time-table since the Sunway bus starts at 7 and 530.....

I don't want to end class at 2pm and have to wait for the 530 bus

Hi, just want to know how do you calculate ATAR for FIA (foundation in arts)?

It's like 4+4+2 credits and I'm trying to get ATAR 90%...

And how do you convert it to CGPA in-case I want to apply to other university?
_______________

And I just checked my imail that the SSD actually gave me the wrong scholarship for my results (RM4,000 instead of RM6,000). I hope that the SSD will fix it *terrified*.

Hi there. Foundation in Arts is calculated based on your average and not according to ATAR (this is for AUSMAT).

Converting to CGPA depends on university. You might need to check with specific universities.

How many A's did you obtain in your SPM? Would you be able to list down the subjects and grades?
Oooh, so the % in the TSJC continuing scholarship is actually based on the average but not ATAR right? So, is it possible to convert it to CGPA right? Cause I might be doing law in other uni =/

Regarding the scholarship, I went to the SSD and get it fix'd. Thank anyway.
