The others are slightly pale. Kalau sate can make the sate color slightly golden would be nice. And the tembikai would look more succulent IMHO if slightly reddish. lencent: 7 FPS without AF or AE is still okay but you know when to use it, for example:
- when a balloon is being exploded - golf swing - archery, arrow escaping bow - performer on stage doing a guitar solo (they don't move front/back all that often, and if you see that happen you release and half-press again to refocus) Honestly, AE during burst shots is annoying because you get uneven exposures through different frames. |

QUOTE(lencent @ Jan 19 2010, 04:53 AM) You can either burst using the standard refocus after each shot burst, or the 7 fps focus once and keep firing like crazy burst mode.So.. it's up to the user what they want to use, which is great! |

QUOTE(kmarc @ Jan 18 2010, 12:02 AM) Thx! I read some reviews of the 18250 and is reassured of it's good lens. At least I didn't blunder too much on my first DSLR.... maybe it's just slow/late... usually like that one... good thing Kuching no problem so far... Yup. I bought it from the Sony centre in Delta Mall. They do carry the alpha models but don't have many stocks. The guy there "Lawrence" said that they have ordered stocks long time ago but never came. QUOTE(ieR @ Jan 18 2010, 12:44 AM) braynumb, not trying to pop ur balloon, just to clarify. no worries bubble still well intact... I know that 3rd party lens maker are now trying to tap into alpha mount market... but currently, most of the 3rd party lenses have more varieties for N/C cams... that's what I tried to elaborate in my statement... is that in the long run/near future, Alphas will be a better investment... nikon and canon might have Original accessories, but they are not any cheaper then what sony has to offer for their own. ever since sony swallowed down a percentage of the DSLR market, so many 3rd party china manufacturer trying to tap into alpha user market, so, almost every 3rd party accessories for N and C, they are now making another connectors for Alpha. and.... third party lenses, minolta been around for years, and yes, there are many 3rd party manufacturer did make lenses for alpha mount (minolta mount). but what makes me really think deep is, how 3rd party offer non VC/OS (like IS/VR) to sony, are sooo much cheaper then the VC/OS unit to N and C... making long run, N and C are not worth it, (since 3rd party lens IQ are the same between S/C/N mount.) even N and C's original lens, non IS/VR are around sony's lenses, which we have SSS, but the IS/VR lenses cost extra. albnok[/] u missed out 75-300 lens under FF -Midrange telephoto zoom:, that could be even cheaper then other 70300. Added on January 18, 2010, 12:46 am we should break off and become independent,... sure more harmony one QUOTE(PonG @ Jan 18 2010, 10:14 PM) try asking destfull... he's selling his few weeks old 18250.... QUOTE(albnok @ Jan 18 2010, 11:14 PM) I don't usually cook but here goes! dudeeee... you look too funny in this pic! hahaha... looked kinda clowny... somehow, the pic makes your bottom half of your body bigger... hahaha but nice one though... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [b]ReasonsofThanatos: That is a badly done comparison. The studio shot was at 50mm F10.0 1/20s! 1/20s is no guarantee that it will be clear of motion blur. It also looks misfocused. So go tell your friend to look at more professionally-done reviews. QUOTE(achew @ Jan 18 2010, 11:35 PM) Hmmm... instead of upgrading, wouldn't it be better to have a wireless flash? Hmmmm.......Got one self-poisoning question. If I have my HVLF20AM, how can I make it flash wirelessly? You know, place the flash somewhere else around the subject? |

craziqbal: Ack but yeah that happens with movie posters.
The Wonder: Nice #2 #3 #4! kmarc: You can't trigger the F20AM off-camera. That's why a F42 or F58 would be a better buy - the F20 should come later if you need to bounce without carrying too big a flash. |

Hmmmm....... nope. only A850 n A900 can do that (cos high A series dun have pop up flash, n use F20 to trigger any A flash), for below A series , only F58, F56, F42 n F36.Got one self-poisoning question.
