I listen to REL once.
But I don't know whether REL is below 20HZ or not.
It seems like very soft...

Does GSC cinema subwoofer also below 20hz?

What REL model you listened to? Most of REL subs dont go down to 20Hz.
It would be good if you could arrange a demo with Htkaki. Then you know what is the real power of SVS. Let your ears be the judge.

Before attempting to answer your question, can you explain what u will use the subwoofer primarily for? Movies or music? If both, can you let me know how many % of each? This is important before I answer. I carried out some frequency response charts for the PB13U recently.

I thought you had auditioned the F113. Then, you should have experienced it since it goes below 20Hz. Your statement above confused me

Which REL sub? Most of the REL subs are 'musical'. Its midrange models tend to roll off at pretty early stage and run out of steam at mid 20s. Here's a FR graph of REL T1,which might explain why you feel its very soft :

To give u an example in the room the PB13U had usable output till 12Hz. Low enuf?

However, for music, no real instruments actually go so low. The pipe organ is one of the few instruments that go.

Hence, it is important to understand what u r actually looking for. For movies, hell yeah, there is content mixed at even 10Hz or 5Hz. Loud explosions and rumblings, to name a few.

BTW : Bass freaks, check out SpiderMan2 when Doc Oc demoing the use of his claws to control the fusion reactor. Plenty of earth and plaster ceiling bass here!

You can check how low the sub goes by looking at the specs and also 3rd party testing on the various forums. There have been graphs published before. I believe the PB13 can go to 15 Hz and below.

Honestly, you probably won't be able to hear below 20 Hz (it's more about the feel), so hard to tell you what it sounds like.

I have no idea what kind of sub GSC cinema uses.
