Funny thing is, many news are reporting that the SAFE HAVEN is now US currency, while a few months ago, these expert says US dollars is collapsing and we need a new currency to replace it.  smile.gif

News are just reports of what has already happened. People who are "in the action" knew what's gonna happen before it happens. Those experts who give comments on changes in the market after it happened are just reporters of events, i think they don't really know what's going on at this moment, they only know it after. Hence the contradicting comments given at such a short time frame. I'm quite sure few months down the road the market will return to saying gold/silver are afterall, the safe heaven.

Let's see what happens when Greece really defaults.

Hi thk38, i'm also newbie here. Welcome to the forum to gain and share our knwoledgement about silver investment.
Personally i prefer physical silver as the value is in our hand regardless of price fluctuation or economic collapse.

Yup, monday very exciting time. It will be interesting to see if it rebound on profit taking or slide down on panick selling.

I also think can buy a little now, tomorrow slide some more, stablize, buy a little more. If it goes up, then hold on to your investment and find the right time to sell.

At least we will not say "Aiya if I know early sunday price is the lowest, I will buy more or at least some" so doing a little every time it rest at a new low price, we can at least say "lucky I buy some, now those are profiting already"

my 2 oz worth. smile.gif

chef

So you bought any silver lately? or concentrating main on gold?
thinking of ordering online some silver but i'll see the price later tonite or tomorrow. i'm invested in both silver n gold although gold is paper gold la. today hv to do something so no online access but also cannot tahan hv to check the gold/silver price using my h/p that has no dataline package laugh.gif

I bought my first kilo at $38, at $30 I can still buy to average my cost. Just that you don't find any sellers in the Philippines. laugh.gif

actually no one knows how the price movement is ... so if you're confident with Precious metal, then i think it's just good to do averaging like buying monthly ...

If it is above USD 30, then hang around and see where it goes next, if it stays at USD 30 for the whole week, it means people are coming back into long position.

But I still think it will go down a little more, next few days will be interesting to watch and see who among us all manage to catch the right price at it's bottom. 1 copper coin to the winner!! smile.gif next time we organise a competition and I will donate 1 silver coin as first prize. biggrin.gif

hi, i found that it is very difficult to sell all 35 pcs 2oz dragon at once. then i decided to sell them in multiple of 5. Minimum purchase is 5 pcs.

If cod in jb, the price is rm350 per pc.
If cod in other place, the price is rm360 per pc.
if you ask me to post via poslaju and willing to take the full risk, then the price is rm 351. I paid the postage.

Interested ppl, please pm me.

p/s no further discount. If buy less than 5pcs, can only post via pos laju.

I personally think that if the price stay at USD25-35 and the dealer never reduce the price of 1oz dragon, the demand of 2oz dragon will be huge and the premium demanded by perth mint will be increased as well. Perhaps, Perth Mint can't meet the demand also.

This is a great chance to buy the hot item at this cheaper price. The pre-order price of malaysia seller is RM369 and don't even have stock now. I got ready stock. Buy now or miss the chance. If the spot rate go down to 20, I will not sell these coins anymore as I will hard to buy other silver products to replace my holdings. If the price rebounds above 40, I will not never sell as well as the spot rate might skyrocket soon.

i've bought some silver at spot 40, so unless it drops to 20 or below, no point to buy at around spot 30 coz the cost average is not much. i think you'll get to keep the copper coin laugh.gif

ask yourself, why you buy physical silver, is anything changed? if not, just buy in dip. drop to $5 even better. buy without fear.

I'm just a small fish..cant afford to buy ever time dip, only able to buy 5 Ozt ever month..so if the dip is too deep and long way to recover. I need to change the game play because my short term target is 6 months, my mid is 1 year and long for 2 years. If the recovery take ages is better for me to cool off for a while.
