Just got confirmation from my friend that are pro in IT they say my lan/wifi card are fried,can anybody tell me where are the neares Toshiba service centre ?

i guess you should be searching teledynamic's website for the nearest service center.

Thx guys for all your help,luckily the wifi card/lan port died just before 1month the warranty ends,will ask my dad to drop by to send it,do you need the receipt?

Rarely see wifi card burnt, last time got one but because of water spill sweat.gif

hi! I have got a L755 last month during pc fair
i was told this unit come with 1+2 local warranty
so i happily bought it home and use it
and after 1 week, i take all the docs out for warranty registeration
and only i notice...............

THE WARRANTY PERIOD PRINTED ON INVOICE IS 1 YEAR REGIONAL WARRANTY QAQ

I called the seller the next day and they promise it is 3 years
so I continued with registration and everything.....
I just check on Tele Dynamics website today, the warranty is still 1 year...
however, It stated i m eligible for service pack activation
and he ask for id and password which i have no idea what it is.....

what can i do? should i insist my seller to give me an amended invoice?

could be that 1 year is by teledynamics and the additional 2 years is by your seller's own company?

Just got a Toshiba Satellite P755-1003x. Extremely satisfy with it even though it is a tad more expensive compared to other brands.

Took it back home and I tried to reinstall a clean copy of windows using a CD I had (don't like all the software installed by manufacturers tongue.gif )and at the installation stage, it keeps asking me for the CD-ROM driver. Just want to check if anyone here managed to do a clean installation of windows? A bit worry that the CD-ROM could be faulty.

Yes, that is an option. But, I am more concern about the CD-ROM now. If the CD-ROM is faulty, I would prefer send it for warranty asap.

First time encountering this situation. It is a possibility that Toshiba tried to prevent users from re-installing a clean copy of windows?
