Hi all toshiba owners here

i bought a toshiba 6 around 4 months ago from lowyat. it has 2 year official warranty. now im having issue with its speaker and harddisk. my receipt is currently missing. so my question here =

1) can i claim warranty w/o receipt?

2) should i take it back to the shop i bought from?i dont really remember which shop i bought from == or should i directly to service centre? Where is the location of toshiba service centre .

Can i ask, AMD C50 processor is better than Intel atom N570?
I have bad experiences on AMD processor in laptop. So just wonder in is ok for netbook or not.
I wan to buy a netbook. My choices are Asus 1015px, 1015B or Toshiba NB520
hope someone can help...

p/s is there a Toshiba call NB550?

N570 is better than C50.
The HD6250 is better than Intel.

Get NB520 if you prefer better speaker.
1015B if you want better multimedia playback...
We don't have NB550.

N570 or C50 are more durable?
one more question, since 6250 is better than intel, does it mean that it consume more power and make the standby time of C50 less than N570?

Hello, new Toshiba lappy user reporting in. Bought the Satellite P755 15.6" notebook a few days ago. Wanted an illuminated keyboard laptop (so that I can type in the dark, like what I'm doing now), but not willing to shell out the dough for the MacBook Pro nor the Dell XPS 15Z, so bought this instead. Was quite pleased with the built quality and speed of the i7 quad core + 8GB combo (4GB came with the unit, i added an additional 4GB).

Anybody know why I can't connect my home wifi with my laptop?I am using Unifi btw,what should I do?

What kind of can't connect? Can't detect or ? Reset the router ? Updated wifi driver ?

It can detect my wifi signal but when want to connect popup a message said wifi signal is limited

If you move it closer to the router ?
Tried with manual IP ?

hello pros, some newbie stupid qustions..
how to know that the laptop is quad core or dual core...? it wont stated in spec that "I am quad core lappy" =P...
and also in toshiba website, one model got so many spec also.. (for example F750 got PQF75L-012002, PQF75L-012012, 016013 etc... http://pc.toshiba-asia.com/notebook/personal/qosmio/F750)
how do i know which one is available in Malaysia? it no provide price for each as well and also make me suffer to choose among them...

The other Core i7 except Core i7 2620M/i7 2640M, are Quad Core. The Quad Core will have "QM" e.g. i7 2630QM, i7 2670QM.
