Hello, new Toshiba lappy user reporting in. Bought the Satellite P755 15.6" notebook a few days ago. Wanted an illuminated keyboard laptop (so that I can type in the dark, like what I'm doing now), but not willing to shell out the dough for the MacBook Pro nor the Dell XPS 15Z, so bought this instead. Was quite pleased with the built quality and speed of the i7 quad core + 8GB combo (4GB came with the unit, i added an additional 4GB).

Did you try to reset your router? (turn it off, then on again) It usually works for me.

the satellite P755 is an option worth considering as well, if you are OK with bigger screen.

I've been using this laptop for the past few months already. Very reliable. I'm not into heavy gaming, mostly using it for photoshop (which I use heavily) as well as regular office work and surfing the net. Love the backlit keyboard, making it possible for me to work at night with the lights in the room switched off (not the best environment to work for my eyes, but i don't do it very often). No issues for me so far.
