I just bought the L745-1049U(?) with core-i3 2330M after selling L745-1050X. THe new one is still riddled with the same problem that drove me to sell the 1050X. Laggy youtube video playback (choppy and jerky) even when fully buffered.

How come only you have that problem? Its very weird

No it's not. Even fully buffered also stuttering.

And here's an additional kicker. At least the 1050X stutters ONLY in youtube. The 1137U which I bought to replace it has stuttering in BOTH YOUTUBE and NORMALLY PLAYING VIDEOS.

I have a good mind to transform this laptop into a MacAir(Borne) out the window. I've run out of ideas what to do. The Ah Beng manning the Toshiba counter at LYP didn't want to accept the 1050X, so I don't really feel like trying my luck with this 1137U. Can anyone suggest what to do? I've reformatted to out-of-the-box state with both, still the same. The Intel display driver for the 1137U, when I initiated the installer, says the version that came with the lappie is newer....

I having the same problem while watching RMVB movie with my L745=1051XB, which my Asus don have tht problem =.="
Anyway, it is ok when watching MKV file with the same type player


I think I have settled the problem.... .....
Prev I use KM Player...... laggy; after tht change to K-Lite Codec ver 7.6...... laggy; now I use the old version Klmcodec 4.16.... is ok ^^
I am smooth in watching my RMVB movie again

Talked to Teledynamics KL and complained to Toshiba Singapore already, they say its not Toshiba problem, its Nvidia and Windows' problem

Worse, the problem is universal in all M500.... angry lo

It happen random or can trigger it ?

It happens every 10-20 seconds when watching movies... and sometimes randomly (my guess is that it happens when Nvidia G310m kicks in)...

I'll try and update the latest Nvidia drivers again, so far all of them din't work T_____T

The problem will arise regardless of what player I used e.g. KM Player, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, VLC player
