as what their ceo or representative(i forget who is him) talk on newspaper,
tvb copyright fee are very expensive,
i think if we really want to watch tvb hd show,
have to pay even higher subscription fee than astro on demand..

No la...You got it wrong..From now till before April 2010, they will NOT charge you the extra RM20. They will Charge you the extra RM20 starting from April 2010, where at the same time your 1 year contract will activate till April 2011.

so is it RM20 per month for HD no matter how many HD channel u want?

RM20 is for HD service or b.yond decoder monthly fee,
the hd channel u can get is based on the package u subscribe,
if u do not get documentary, sports and movie package,
u will no get any HD channel to watch,
unless they launch a HD channel that same as ur current subscription package.

I dont think TVB HD shows will more expensive than sports channel in HD.

but sports channel is suitable for every race,
and tvb hd shows maybe only for chinese...

isn't when astro buy TVB series....it's already included HD?
cuz now TVB already HD not sd
they can just upgrade to HD...no need extra

to be honest it will be really nice to have TVB HDJADE on astro, but don't go on having astro on demand HD....that will be very bandwidth wasting... i've just recently watch Born Rich all in HD, not 1080i, but 720p...its really nice indeed, but somehow too detail until those background setting looked fake enough and the views are easily seen to be posters, lol

as i know the drama we watch on astro on demand,
all are HD..

i also hope astro will provide chinese hd channel as soon..

I'm so dissapointed at Astro...
I hope we can get HDJADE or similar HD channel which provide HD TVB shows next year, a.s.a.p....

ya,
we have to pay RM38.95(or less) to watch sd astro on demand,
and this is a good chance for them to get extra money from us..

mmm, i just wish they bring in MTV HD asap.... this is what i want =D, music videos in HD, live performances in HD.... wooo

And i want Anime channel on HD.
