Does the B.yond decoder air channel with security code? Espacially for HD channel.

the on-screen codes seem to be disappeared, you guys still have it?

it's hard to please everyone, especially the 'complainers'.... nothing is good enuff for them...

It is always like that with people. I've traveled around and yet people from first world countries are still criticizing their governments, providers and etc.

Even Sky in the UK also having this kind of problem. TM HSBB is trying to emulate Virgin.

there's a fine line with criticizing n complaining to the limits..

Let me tell you why Astro sux...
1. Code always appear in selected times.
2. Astro SD channel is actually CTMSD channel (Compressed-Too-Much SD Channel)
3. Double Line Subtitles is blocking our view.
4. Astro operator tell me that HK no HD channel when I call Astro in January 2009.
5. The show is repeat and repeat again.

On pic no. 3, the Astro Supersport Logo is quite in the middle of the screen, not on the very edge. Does it happpen on all HD channels?

I believe the signal is still 720x576 at 25fps interlaced (standard PAL MPEG2), but the bitrate has been restricted so much that the details are all smoothed out, and very bad macroblocking effect during fast changing scenes. Yes, local free-to-air stations are the worst affected. Many people are surprised that these local stations actually are so much sharper when received directly off the air via the regular analogue UHF transmission, provided their antenna system is good and within range of the broadcast.

nope, just SD.
In fact TW only has HiHD which is something like our RTM. But that also just a few of HD shows.
