damonlbs, I think it's more like your eyes have gotten used to the tint. If you try compare it with another of your known white / warmish lights, I'm sure you'll see the green tint again. This sucker is bright ... will check it out more tonight.

i use detoxit progold and that greenish is almost gone.

At the moment, I've only deoxit the contacts at the LE. I'll try and do that to the rest of the contact points on the body, then progold it. Let's hope it gets better like yours. Maybe it's from the green glow o-ring ... hmmm. Will change that to the black later.

The MiNi will DEFINITELY be brighter. Quite a lot brighter too.
MiNi is a lot brighter than the A1. Remember this. It's 190 LED lumens vs 190 out the front lumens. Also consider X-PE Q5 vs XP-G R5.
Don't think it will be alot brighter as mentioned in this thread:

Eos A1 and Mini

Like I said, probably about 190 lumens vs 160-170 lumens. Just slightly brighter. 20-30 lumens difference at that level is very slight.

20-30 lumens is actually quite noticeable. But it's a lot harder to notice here cos the beam profile is totally different.

Depends if you like floody or more focused beam.

I'd prefer floody for super small lights like this. But that's just me. =D

Wah, u got great eyes then haha. Cuz i have the PD30 vs R5 Ti 123 and the difference is about that and i can hardly see any difference in a ceiling bounce test. The room is a pitch black room.

The beamshot brightness in the pic appears like identical, haha, but like Polkiuj said, both beam profiles are different. Also I wonder if the iTP advertised lumens are the same with 47's unsure.gif

HOT stuff indeed!! It's those beamshots which is making me impatient to receive my D26-bipin modules with TL3, WA1111 and WA1185! I just love the 'wall of light' with 1185.

However, I was just glancing at the mag623 drool.gif There's always something brighter, huh?

Heheh, nice stuffs, you wont regret lar.

Your latest light will be coming very soon, haha then your light family will grow even more!! rclxms.gif

About the battery run time, haha I thought I did answer with simple words wor, sorry its my bad english again?

QUOTE
A simple math will see that 14500 will have bigger volume than 16340, hence it will have more capacity mAH rating.

So a 14500 750mAH will have same run time with 16340 750mAH, but in the reviews, it never state the AW RCR 123's capacity, I guess it is a typical 500-650mAH cell.

You are right on the 14500 has more room to fill the chemistry, hence more power.

...but a 14500 can have a 500mAH whilst a 16340 can be a 650mAH, and vice versa, if the brand, manufacturer , chemistry, model is different.

But a 750mAH RCR123 and 750mAH 14500 (same voltage and Chemistry) would have same runtime on same circuit/emitter, this one pretty sure, haha.

Yup, that's one of them. I got 2 different ones for 2 different bi-pin types (T1.5 for CL1794 and TL-3, and T.2.25/G4 for WA1111/WA1185). I decided that bi-pin bulbs are a lot cheaper to replace than Lamp Assemblies. I'll still be on the look out for cheap P91 modules, though. The LF modules are great, but I think I'd only use it with larger batteries. My IMR-9 with IMR16340s is, I'm sure, underdriving the bulb by quite a margin, since it's really made to shine on 2x18650s.

I'm guessing it'll take a while for them to arrive, though. sad.gif Well, better to keep expectations low and have them exceeded!

Anyway, for prolonged (continuous) use, I still stick to my Quark AA =) It's easier to pocket as well.
