Yeah quite cheap but dont get caught by SIRIM. If you do, you gonna pay RM 210 + 10% tax too which I think you better off buying AP set
*
It depends on how you declare the goods. Most online shopping sites allow you to specify special requests. This is where you tell them to declare the goods as a 'gift'. SIRIM and the shipping company likes to lookout for parcels that is declared as 'Communication Device'. So if you declare it as a gift, it'll go undetected. But shipping company sometimes do random picks this is where you need to count on your luck.

At most you need to go SIRIM to purchase a personal AP permit. You can do so through an agent or personally. This is where you need to make declaration of the product through specifications, product brochure and some paperwork. After paying for the permit you need to settle the tax by paying the shipping company. The company will then do the rest and ship it to you.

I've heard many many rumors. One numbnut from PDA Expert, Midvalley even told me that it won't be launched until end of the year. I thought I heard wrongly but then... meh.... forget it. Don't know don't simply say mah...

Most indications point at end of this month. We shall see.

Probably not but you will see it when Live Wallpaper is loaded. Everything will slow to a crawl. Milestone is a good example. Technically speaking, in Android you almost never see a low ram issue because it dynamically manages ram usage. But you won't know it when some programs are closed either. So having more RAM will reduce this problem.

I'll be back in Malaysia, sometimes in July, what do you guys think this phone will fetch in Low Yat?

In the UK, it's very cheap, partly subsidized by the telcos.. I can see some gold mine there biggrin.gif

People sell RM2080 including 'other handling and administration fees' mah hehehe... If we're in UK, we would have got it too. But we're here in Malaysia, so we need people like Terry to do the rest without hassle on our side.
