Found that the desire is a bit warm after using for while, do you guys having the same problem?

Using the Desire for 2 days now, i dont even notice any warm problem. And i used it alot with the phone still naked, waiting for a proper case for it. But then, maybe i suspect it will be warm if you use a very heavy apps (eg. large games etc.)

I notice every time when i connected to internet via 3g then the device getting warm, but no such problem when connected via wifi.

Now that you mention it, it does feel warm a little, especially when got connected to 3g or H signal. Not much to be bothered by it though.

i really would like to know about this too. i would like to know if there is turn-by-turn navigation GPS like the Garmin one. i'm really considering to buy this phone, but only will buy if there is navigation feature.

anyone with the phone can clarify ?

I am pretty much a happy user of Google Navigation on the Desire. Dont have any experience on other Nav GPS so i can only speak of this google nav experience.

Google Nav is not available in Malaysia out of the box (google only allow it in few selected countries). But a modified version of google maps is readily available online. Just install an app called Nav Launcher from market, run it and it will prompt you to download the latest version of modified google maps.

I was impressed by it. Quite accurate . Turn by turn is nicely executed. The voice guide is a little off sometimes (i read that they are still working on this bug), but the visual is all you need. It will auto re-route quickly if you choose to use a diffrent route from the suggested one. You can watch the demo on youtube here. (Note: voice command is not available on my Desire).

The only thing that you need to be aware of is you need to be online to use it.

Just received my desire and I'm having lots of fun with it.

I wanted to use a picture I took as a wallpaper and whenever I do that, there is always a green box I need to drag and when I set it, the picture becomes really big at the home screen.

Does anyone know how to make the wallpaper 'fit' the screen?

Many thanks!

Not sure if you done this already but just in case, you can also resize the green box. Just drag on one the corner of the green box and you can get set the size of the wallpaper you want.
