QUOTE(8kelvin @ Apr 18 2010, 11:13 PM) i dun see why is it so not possible.. android is open source and current hardware isnt so expensive any longer.competitive market will definitely brings price down to drive sales. in anyway, HTC gain the most since both device manufactured by them. |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Apr 21 2010, 08:39 AM) Hi guys, i'm hihihehe's friend that he mentioned.. dude... congrats to ur new phone. i got a problem on android 2.0 n above. there is no options for email signature entry. im wondering why too while android 1.6 got the options, deleted it off from android 2.0. Just got my HTC Desire yesterday... The screen is really awesome, bright and vibrant... I'm upgrading from my HTC G1/Dream to Desire.. It's a huge step for me as 1.6 to 2.1 is a big difference. I'm already used to Android OS so what goes where... The 1Ghz SnapDragon is really amazing, very very fast compared to my G1's 500+ Mhz only. the HTC Sense is a thumbs up, the UI is so much nicer than the android default one... People are claiming the battery sucks, yea, but once you know how to close the unnecessary things then it's good... OK, Here's some shots to show you. can you please help me to check on urs whether u able to input / edit email siggy? |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Apr 24 2010, 05:59 PM) lol..what htc desire can do then n1 also can do in term of software..same for the other way round.. 1 more thing.. N1 got 2nd mic for noise cancellation. i tot it really will improve by a lot..sense ui? n1 can have it by root..n1 will support wireless N soon...mayb this is not important but some ppl with wireless N router will be happy n1 will have faster update than htc desire(well thats for sure) htc desire has more RAM but mayb is bcoz it needed for sense ui? u can engrave ur word on N1 but not on htc desire? lol who cares except u buy to someone special for u 1 with extra Google word on the handset which attract many google fans... both phone also great..but htc desire is newer than n1.. but apparently from review, both with o without 2nd mic for noise cancellation perform the same.. |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Apr 26 2010, 09:23 PM) Games currently on android are not as nice as the Iphones but everyday there's a developer out there trying to bring out Android's full potential. There are alr a few games not bad but not as nice as Iphones.. hmm, wondering do lowering the resolution will have better recording. but iphone is natively support those vga recording. If you wanna play games more than using it as a smartphone then go get Iphone. As for the Video Camera settings, you can tweak 4 resolutions.. WGVA (800x480) VGA (640x480) CIF (352x288) QVGA (320x240) Encoding type h.263 and mpeg4 EDIT: If you guys are wondering about the video of the HTC Desire, i could take some samples and show you.. I havn't even tested it myself but htc desire is juz all depend on software encoding than hardware i think.. well, lets see if u could post up some sample video to help us judge. |

hmm, for the picture.. the color reproduction on iphone looks better. probably bro z3r0 didnt adjust the proper white balance on htc desire.
and also, to be fair, photo must be taken by place the phone on a flat surface to eliminate any hand vibration. juz a sample like due to long usage to iphone and hand get used to the weight, hand tend to shake lesser. but desire weight is different and need time for hand to compensate. well, juz my suggest. bcaz i feel the desire test shot is pretty lousy... hmm, even my current phone take much better shot. sample.. >.< ![]() |
