i think paraguay have show how to beat spain in the match just they dont have the cutting edge to score the winning goal, they chase down spanish player with the pass very quickly and no give them space. this make the spanish passing less accurate and no able to play they usual game. i if spain did not tidy up their defense more they will be in big trouble against the german counter attack, joachim loew can also copy how inter shut down the barcelona attack as his tactic, since spain have such a heavy barca influence.

In any case, back to the discussion.

Spain will be vulnerable to German counterattacks, but that is IF they lose possession-they are extremely cautious and conservative with their passes. Especially in the opening 20 mins or so. Germany like to press forward to get the first goal, then sit back and defend, hoping to lob a hopeful ball forward to Ozil. Del Bosque will be aware of that, so i doubt this semi final will pan out like the Argentina game.

We might possibly get a rather boring first half, with changes made at half time. My 2 cents biggrin.gif

The best young player - no need debate biggrin.gif
best player has to be xavi for me. But then again i'm bias for this type of player, sort of like scholes. If not xavi then either sneijder (2) or Scweinsteiger (3)
