Hmm so Tx-5 is somewhat like a DSLR? wow the price is really overbudget >.<

is it because of good sensor in low light so higher price?

Type of camera/lens/accesories : Prosumer/Semi-pro/DSLR
Budget : RM1.5K plus minus one to two hundred
Your Location : Penang
Preferable brand : Anything that suits will do, I only know of brands like Canon, Sony and Nikon.
Type of photography u want to do : All kinds
Any specific models in mind? : Canon G11, Sony HV5
Any specific features u want? : As many as possible would be nice, good macro distance, wide angle, good sensor definitely

I'd like to get into photography a little bit deeper and I don't really know what kind of photography I want to get into. I'd like to carry this camera around everywhere I go, so big sized, no no

Thanks.

sigh, cameras ... sorry if i offended camera enthusiasts, but there aint much skills in photography, especially when 1 good camera has all functions you need to take a good picture that comes with feel or whatever you call it

lol I am a newbie am not in position to say much but I can tell you you're totally wrong.. There's a lot more knowledges in photography than to shooting your own feel... For proof, you can just view albums of normal compacts camera photos taken by pros, they could appear to be awesome though taken by just a compact
