QUOTE(lighter @ Jan 7 2010, 04:22 PM) D300 The number of cross sensors in D300 is what I would like to have on D90- Compact Flash Memory Card (I prefer CF Memory coz I can transfer to PC faster.. hehe) - 51 Focus Points (which I don't find any useful for this) QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jan 7 2010, 05:01 PM) IQ wise i dont know who beats who but iinm tamron wins overall compared to a pro L lens, canon 70200 2.8 is usm and sigma 70200 Tamron beats Canon 70-200 IS USM ?????? Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM is one of the best tele lens out there woneed to think more bout this.. Added on January 7, 2010, 5:06 pm industry disgrace look alike by nikon? where where? wanna see...link pleasee.. yeah having two bodies would be nicee..one ultra wide angle and mybe kitlens/24-70 etc... |

QUOTE(lighter @ Jan 7 2010, 04:37 PM) Both are using same size CMOS sensor. I believe D90 Chromatic Aberration control is better than D300 (Not proven don't shoot me thanks for the link ! it was very helpful. i've made up my mind, i will go with d300. the faster speed of d300 is what that fascinates me. thanks againI never stop friends buying D300. But I will definately will stop them upgrade from D90 to D300. Check this ISO noise control.. see which one you prefer.. hehe http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d90/iso-3200.htm |

yup...seen the pics on a website comparing them ..sigma, tamron and the canon..the tamron wins overall in terms of IQ and price..but on the bad side, it doesnt have high speed motor, no VR/IS...

Guys, which one do you think is better/more worth it. I own a D3000.
Upgrade to D90 with 18-105mm kit lens OR keep my D3000 and buy a Nikkor 18-200mm lens? I already have 18-55mm & 55-200mm but i hate changing lens p/s: posted this in the D40 thread already, but just want to here opinions from D90 owners. Thanks |

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Jan 7 2010, 11:36 PM) Guys, which one do you think is better/more worth it. I own a D3000. if you plan to only use and buy autofocus lenses like AF-S, HSM then u could stick with the d3000 but if you want to autofocus with older AF, AFD lenses, then D90 is for you. a good example would be the 50mm 1.8 which is cheap but excellent & can af on d90 body.Upgrade to D90 with 18-105mm kit lens OR keep my D3000 and buy a Nikkor 18-200mm lens? Thanks pros- -d90 can use grip -can af with af, afd lenses -bigger body and better grip on it's own |

Im wondering why so cheap! yeah..if in not mistaken...i saw a scammer selling d90...from sabah..i think that is the one..d90 body only 2nd hand pon cannot reach 2k...definitely a scam!!only thing i dont like with the old d300 is the d-pad..there's no independent OK button..so accidental presses are a norm..d300s is refined and no more d-pad problem |

If you change your system to D90 + 18-105, you will end up changing lens too isnt it? If you do not need better noise control, better AF, i dont see a need to switch to D90 yet.. |

VR II has a dedicated 'zoom lock'....anymore?? so, is it worth paying the extra $? Buyer have to think think lo.. |
