QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 31 2009, 12:19 AM) Only issue I'm afraid is condensation >.< LOL. Hopefully it isn't that cold at Germany when I go there next month...(or rather next year). yeah i agree 14-24 is expensive and its for FX. im going to use it on my d90 so 11-16 seems to be my choice =)14-24 is pricey, but then is an very very wide lens for fullframe |

QUOTE(lighter @ Jan 7 2010, 04:22 PM) Basically the differences are wow thanks for the detailed explanation. from what u stated, obviously the specs of d300 is superior to d90. is the picture quality very difference big ?D90 - SDHC Memory Card - 11 Focus Points - Shutter Speed Max 1/4000 - Active D-Lighting (Off, Auto, Low, Normal, High & Very High) - 4.5fps - Fastest Shutter Speed with Flash: 1/200 - Shutter Death: 100,000 cycles - 12bit RAW format D300 - Compact Flash Memory Card (I prefer CF Memory coz I can transfer to PC faster.. hehe) - 51 Focus Points (which I don't find any useful for this) - Shutter Speed Max 1/8000 (I don't use that high speed) - Active D-Lighting (Off, Low, Normal & High) - 8fps (I don't shoot in burst mode) - Fastest Shutter Speed with Flash : 1/250 (D90 also got FP ma..) - Shutter Death: 150,000 cycles - 14bit RAW format (Can select 12bit too) - Additional AF button - Can support AI-s Lenses - Heavy but easier to hold (I agree on this) I've personally compare D90 and D300 ISO noise control. D90 is obviously better than D300. QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Jan 7 2010, 04:22 PM) magnesium body sounds heavy but magnesium body sounds solid too This post has been edited by yuenzhi: Jan 7 2010, 04:34 PM |

QUOTE(lighter @ Jan 7 2010, 04:37 PM) Both are using same size CMOS sensor. I believe D90 Chromatic Aberration control is better than D300 (Not proven don't shoot me thanks for the link ! it was very helpful. i've made up my mind, i will go with d300. the faster speed of d300 is what that fascinates me. thanks againI never stop friends buying D300. But I will definately will stop them upgrade from D90 to D300. Check this ISO noise control.. see which one you prefer.. hehe http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d90/iso-3200.htm |
