you're like just wanna spend money without any reason..

it's all depending on your needs.. which focal length you shoot more or prefer..

rm2k you can get many types of lens.. for wedding you should go for 17-50 f/2.8 instead of 70-300 unless you have additional camera body for telephoto lens..

hmm...y wedding need 70-300??
u gonna snap ur bro from a far distance?? tongue.gif
act the lens is depend on ur need, but most likely,17-50 is ok...
and if u feel not wide enough, can go try the 10.5 fish eye...

there ain't lens that ppl suppose to buy...
buying lens are depend on ur need...

example:
u bought a car...and now u got money to upgrade it...let say u feel the car is not fast enough, then u upgrade the engine, still not fast enough? add some turbo,NOS etc....

If you don't know what to buy, you probably need nothing.

I'd prefer Nikkor 17-55 over Tamron 17-50 tongue.gif
Well, that's alot more expensive tongue.gif

guyz...some quick and urgent question need to ask...
is there any big diffrent compare to 50mm 1.8D(made in china) with 50mm 1.8 without D (made in Japan)??
which to choose between this 2?
*
i would say go for lens with D.

AF-D quoted from:http://www.nikonians.org/nikon/slr-lens.html
"Introduced in 1992. AF Nikon lenses with a CPU that also relays distance information to the camera, most useful for ultra-precise TTL flash. Among the first were the 35-70mm f/2.8D AF and 80-200mm f/2.8D ED AF Nikkor."

sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 HSM OS?
it is a new lens and I believe that it is in KL adi..
i used the older 17-70 2.8-4.5 before that the best thing about the lens is the sharpness and the MFD (20cm throughout all focal length)

why VR2? for the zoom lock? both are using VR version 2 also.....
the only reasons that i can think of
1) want longer range
2) want better built
3) want better VR (18-105 running on VR 1)

downside of 18-200
1) price
2) weight
3) size)
4) distortion (normal for zoom lens cry.gif )

honestly, i find both image quality are pretty decent.....and yes the VR on 18-200 is pretty good, i can shoot 200mm at 1/10 with some practice...ahaha icon_rolleyes.gif
