Which brand of interior paint that you all recommend now? Heard a lot of different comments which make me dilemma..

Pearl Glo no good now? Was quoted RM270/18L for white color.

I had used ICI and Nippon together in my house. The thing is the Nippon colour fade out faster than ICI

Check out which price suit you. Can ask the shop owner to recommend.
Remember ask around a few shop for better opinion and view.

Most paint can be used but not those super cheap. Paints problems mostly caused by workmanship. Most people trying to dilute with water. It is not recommended.

Most paint faded easily are caused either by mixed too much water or painted single coat only.

So, we shouldn't dilute the paint?? Any brand recommended?
The special need home is quite far away from KL.
We went to visit last Friday, there's like a small shop selling Jotun stuff.
Are they any good?

shouldnt dilute as it will weaken the adhesive, shin, and colour fading.
recommended paint = nippon, jotun, scisson, par..budget tight = colourland OD paint ..but not recommended

most important is surface preparation. make sure no dust and oily surface to receive paint.

2nd thing is undercoat is important.

recommended coating
1 coat of undercoat
2 coats of finishing coat. (wait till 1 coat dried only apply 2nd coat)

Hmmm...got 1 problem though, the surface is not the smooth surface one. It's very prickly. And the new tone will be slightly darker....still need the under coating?

My house are having renovation now, many dust.
I'm planning to paint the wall myself after the renovation complete.

Should I clean the wall first before painting? How?
