QUOTE(Richard @ May 15 2016, 04:38 AM) It's not just the finish coat to think about.. I was only asking about prices.. not technique. However thanks for comment. The moisture content of the painted surface will also affect adhesion of the final finish.. A quality sealer undercoat to prevent wasting the finishing coat (being absorbed into the dry cement).. and correct technique.. Waiting each layer to dry properly before applying another coat.. If you're only looking at the final finish without knowing the basis then for sure it won't look as good or last as long.. |

QUOTE(Petre @ Aug 1 2016, 09:08 AM) will be moving into a rented house soon, some of the interior walls are not too desirable aka dirty, plan to repaint it but have limited budget well.. start off with paint shop surrounding your area, their prices could be competitive among the others (no point driving far to get cheaper paint - the $ u saved could only be contra-off with your petrol/toll/time). set-up your mind what u need/do, rather than few trips round.. yah, white is the safest color can anyone suggest what i should get? i think will just paint it white This post has been edited by spreeeee: Aug 1 2016, 09:15 AM |
